Hello  @extantsrevenge Nils !

Had time to search for some monster movies. First I thought it will be easy but then I mentioned its hard to find 25 different kind of monsters. OK, I did not search for all "categories" like Zombies which are also allowed. So here is my selection:

• many different Aliens (Alien, Evolution, Predator, Gremlins, Species, Mars Attacks)
• Godzilla
• Tremors
• The Thing
• The Meg
• Der Weisse Hai (Jaws)
• Rampage
• Piranha
• Zombiber
• King Kong
• Pakt der Wölfe

In the end, not looking for Zombie movies like "28 days/weeks later" etc. I hope it will fit. I added some "Alien" editions to have over 30 in total. Hope its OK. If not, I can add some other movies if you like.

I don't know much about these, would you consider them Monsters?

 

Nice selection with cool Alien and Predator editions. You also added Mars Attack, so I assume you would say it is a Monster Movie? I was still thinking about it when it came up on the last page.

 

Anyway your submission has enough, so congratulations on getting this terrific award

@BlackWidow81 Avengers is not eligible for this award, not sure if I would count The Hills have Eyes as a Monster Movie, these are more cannibalistic hillbilly 🤔. Anyway the Alien Anthology counts for several movies, so you're good anyway.

I think this is one of those movies that you either love or hate. It mixes a few genres (action, horror, war) with a fair amount of feminism, pretty much tailored to the very good Chloë Grace Moretz. You shouldn't question the sense and logic too much. If you can fade that out and get involved with the film, you can be well entertained. I liked it.

I forgot to remove Deamons 1 & 2 from my selection but I guess the count is good with the Resident Evil & Underworld boxsets 🙂
