Aber Premium Steelbooks dürfen den Preis Aufschlag haben, verstehe nicht deine Einwände. Zumal Retro seine Qualität verbessert hat ( naja Cover Gestaltung mal abgesehen) und nicht wie Nameless die sich auf ihren Erfolg ausgeruht haben und nur noch Mist diesbezüglich kommt.

Ich kauf auch kein WWA für 40 Euro.

Mein Wick 4 Nova UHD-Slip und das Batman Manta Slip hab ich jeweils für 55 Euro bekommen (inkl. Versand wohlgemerkt).

Dat is'n WEA Steel + Booklet + Slip + Karten.

Wohl ein Unterschied, wie ich meine.

 

Ich schätze und liebe gute MBs - hab selbst 200 davon, aber 42 Euro für ein Blu-ray (nicht UHD) - Mediabook sind meines Erachtens das Höchste der Gefühle - und dat is schon viel. 52 is too much - nicht bei der Qualität.

Da muss Einiges drinstecken an Originalität und Leistung, um höher zu gehen (für mich persönlich).

I have different orders, Paul - and they will not combine all editions in one shipment.

Further they only ship, if they have all ordered editions (of one order) together (not earlier).

So, I have to wait until GvK will have been released... (and will not get all editions with GvK).

 

Some editions had been sent with Predator.

An diesem dämlichen GvK hängen bei mir tausend Edis, die bereits fertig im Regal stehen.

Es ist schon ein Trauerspiel. Da korrigiert man das VÖ-Datum von GvK vom 4.10.23 auf den 27.3.24 und was passiert........NICHTS !!!🤬

Nicht mal ein Update. Mittlerweile ist der VÖ-Termin von 16 Editionen (inkl. Black Barons) verstrichen, die Edtionen angeblich sold out (wenig glaubwürdig) und was wird verschickt.....NICHTS !!!

Die letzte Vorbestellung war im August 2023. Die Bestellungen seit Oktober 2022 sind nicht ausgeliefert. Wie soll ein Unternehmen auf dieser Basis wirtschaftlich rentabel sein?

Hoffentlich haben wir nicht auf ein totes Pferd gesetzt......!

Thanks to both of you for your help!

 

I was thinking of ordering from the shop suggested by @raylight, because they have a great variety of colours and I don't have to pay customs, and when I was about to do so I found that all the coloured plastic boxes for Blu-ray are out of stock. 🥺

 

What a pity, it seemed the perfect option!!. I thought they were a shop to consider, I would have ordered from them and I would have been happy.

 

On @Veum link there are coloured boxes but for DVD, not Blu-Ray. Thank you anyway!

 

All in all, I'll have to keep hoping to find an option to buy them. But it's funny that it's so hard to find a shop where I can do it.

 

And I really want to give some love to some basic editions that would look very nice with a plastic box in the same colour as the cover or the slipcover, and not almost all of them in the typical "industrial" blue.

 

Someday I'll make it. If anyone knows of a shop, it would be a welcome help! 😊

On that day my hierarchy of editions will look like this:

• Top of the tops: films of which I have several editions including one or more limited collector's editions.
• Top: films of which I have a true numbered limited collector's edition.
• Highly prized: films of which I have a more conventional collector's edition or special edition.
• Cherished: films in steelbook or digibook.
• Applying affection: films in basic editions to which I put a box of a different, more appropriate colour.
• Basics: films I like or am interested in in basic editions without doing anything special for them.

Anyway, I'll keep looking for a shop where I can buy the Blu-ray colour boxes, and that isn't a Chinese supplier that only sends you 1000 copies or more per colour. It's going to end up looking like the holy grail. 

 

PS: As a joke, I was about to put one last level, even lower: Marvel. But maybe some of you would have killed me, and I intend to make it to the summer alive.

Bei Jpc ist ein 4k Steel zu goodfellas bestellbar. Bin gespannt auf das artwork da mir dieser Film als 4k noch fehlt auch wenn leider die umsetzung nicht so gelungen ist laut berichten

Gibt auch noch wieder ein Shawshank Redemption, 2001, Blade Runner 4K Steelbook. Hoffentlich mit guten Artwork, vielleicht ja aber auch nur Neuauflagen. Die Original Kinoplakate wären mal schön 😊

 

Dann kommt noch Purple Rain und das Godzilla vs Kong New Empire ist auch schon bei jpc zu haben.

...sehe ich genauso! Das hat nicht immer was mit der Blu-ray & DVD zu tun! Die Leute kaufen Discless Sachen bezahlen also auch nur für die Verpackung!
