Now let me tell you brezels something that may or may not come as a shock to you - you're absolutely spot on regarding how the French (especially those from rural areas) react to any attempt to converse in any language other than their own. But at the same time, try to put yourself in their place... imagine having your morning coffee and croissant and suddenly a sauerkraut-smelling sloth appears before you mumbling something in a language you neither understand nor speak. I'd freak out too.

Wegen "black friday". Schaut lieber im Ausland als im Inland. Aber schaut nicht so genau, sonst ist ruckzuck das Sparschwein leer wie bei mir. 😄
