Quick question(s) if you don't mind, say someone signs up for Silver Membership and pays the dues...But then Gold Membership slots open up. Would that person be able to upgrade from Silver to Gold? Would they have to pay the full Gold Membership fee even after paying for the Silver Membership, or would they just pay the difference? And my last question would be, if that person signed up for Silver Membership and got the Metal Card for that Status, but then upgraded to Gold, would they then receive another card with their username/join date?

An Upgrade is always possible at the time where openings become available. 

 

Lets just say for example you joined as a Silver Member on 01.02.2018 , you would then receive a Metal Card.  If you then were able to ugrade on 01.08.2018 you would NOT receive an additional card until the 2019 year as we only make the cards with the data one time a year .  

 

For the 2019 year you would become the GOLD membership card with that data.

 

When you upgrade you only pay the difference to the Silver , you would get the extra perks and it would secure your status for the following fisical year. 

 

Hope that makes sense and answers your questions

ps.  what is though possible if you want as a Silver Member this data on your card you can pay the extra amount to have this done.   Again this option is only ONCE a year at time we decide to produce the cards.  After production time we cannot offer you this service.

No one is really sure what the association means ATM ( it may be just something added to make the form work not sure) but Silver Membership can be upgraded when Gold member slots become available ....

Gold isn't available right now unfortunately. Just Silver and Bronze! They're available in the site store here. They try to limit the amount of gold memberships because if everyone has gold then it kinda defeats the purpose of the perks I think. (Like gold members having first stab at really limited releases and stuff). Or who knows haha.

@Danny, when gold are available, the quantity is going to be limited and it is going to be prioritized to silver members first and then bronze members before it is available for everyone else. So, if you are interested in gold, I would recommend you sign up for silver first.

 

@Masterblaster, please correct me if I am wrong.
