well last night could not fall asleep so, recently had turn up on bluray.
which is an old film from 1978 convoy which was uncut on my version and has been digitally restored.
picture quality is superb considering it is such an old fim.
stars kris kristofferson as the rubber duck.
basically a group of truckers led by martin penwald aka rubber duck are targeted by corrupt police officers they take action into there own hands. blazing through several road blocks and speed traps the convoy are pursued through several states. as news of the convoy spreads, unexpected allies join the line, and now the gigantic illegal protest becomes the subject of national news reports.

well as just been in another thread saying i would love this to be made as a steelbook think it's only fair i share here, not that i have ever really seen anything asked on a board get made maybe only once in 15 years i been doing this.
anyway it has to be Fawlty Towers from BBC
on of the best british comedies to come one and still stands tall today as the day it was made.
if this was ever made it would sell out in a heartbeat i think, it would be that popular i think.
but whether anyone will have the grace or balls to do it would be another matter.
maybe @BobaFett1974 would consider doing id be up for one if he would be interested in it and helping me out
but i get he gets very busy but thought i would ask maybe?
i thought dont ask dont get but i thought i try.

I really enjoyed watching the Joker. I guess the reason is, I can relate. About five years ago I was diagnosed with Bipolar I and severe PTSD. So, even though the Joker was dark, I beleive the film showed a great light on mental illness. This is a good thing. I guess that's why I can relate.
no fully believe showing lights on these illnesses are a good thing and should be discussed more in a postive light.
also i can only comment for men we tend to bottle things up a bit more and dont talk maybe as we should do, my wife tells me that sometimes.
but i suppose im only a man at the end of the day.
im really glad you have a diagnosis at least you now know what your dealing with and now work out things that help you better improve your life.
i hope mp lifts you in our little community here.
all the very best

Alrighty this got a little out of hand I guess. This thread is about what we watched last night, right?
And although it wasn't last night (cause last night was gaming night), the last movie I watched was Joker.
Felt uncomfortable throughout the whole movie but in a good way if that makes sense. I think Phoenix' acting was superb and he made it his own version of the Joker.
right trianna ive not seen this and will be a blind watch for me, so without giving anything away too much did you feel uncomfortable because was very dark or creepy most the way thru?
a little elaboration would be good here please.
many thanks

sorry with ann on this we did lose a light back then, yes he had his own demons as WE all do but he made his choice to be free in his own mind and spirit.
which is about being true to ones self regardless as you are the only person that can live with you.
he decided he did not want to live a lie anymore and for that he has my respect at least he was true to himself if no one else and also thats what counts in the end of things, is it not being honest with yourself not the most important thing?
i get people have differing views on things but everyone has the right to be what they want to be period regardless of what anyone else thinks?
as we are now supposed to be in the 21st century and a more modern society.
anyway i think he said it all in this brilliant video below and yes love was mentioned there and everyone has there right to there own love is that what its not all about also once you have love you've won!

Im most looking forward to Manta Lab's release of this movie. I too hope they are able to get it done.
You're saying the company Reel Synergy that made your copy of Death Proof is also eventually producing their on release of Once Upon A Time In Hollywood & Inglorious Basterds?
Yes but is very limited release to limited members only. And is not cheaper either and takes about 6 months to a year each release.
sorry about that didn't mean to your Hope's up but when I take delivery eventually I'll stick up some photos for you. If that makes it any better 👍
Then you may drool 😁

Who collects steelbooks here?
in Member Introduction
Posted
welcome @adeatrick83 you will find there alot of us here who collect steelbooks here and also a wealth of knowledge as well, myself i collect steelbooks and ive been doing this for about 15 years. last 4 years or so been getting into premiums. and as you say the rarer the more desirable. one of my rairtys i got years ago was futureshop inglourious basterds that i got an open one for about £75 going rate at the time for sealed was £150 odd and that was when started falling down the rabbit hole that is premiums and once you start going down that hole there is no turning back. when that first come out was not a premium but you start with blufans add a sprinkling of manta then a touch from kimchi and bit by bit you just want the best in the end and normal steel releases take more of a back seat and you hold out for the premium houses to do there releases instead.
@extantsrevenge his collecting of everything is potty and will make most green eyed, isn't that right nils![xD xD](//mediapsychos.com/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png)
@Benoit46 im led to believe also has a massive collection as well![:D :D](//mediapsychos.com/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png)
@Scary Hair has some nice stuff to and she is a very into alot
the names i could go on and on with but if your into steels think you just found your new home
some of mine below
zavvi but one i glossed myself years ago to try out as an experiment as i already had blufans release later it came out well.
anyway sure the others jump in with some of theirs
