And I just realized I missed an entire page 🤦♂️ I think I've only walked out of two films...Basic Instinct 2 and The Green Knight. The latter I could have pushed through but my wife texted me with a family emergency. That being said, I was not sad to leave. As far as turning off at home, Jungle Cruise and Spring Breakers are the two that immediately pop in my mind. I was surprised by Jungle Cruise considering the cast but my wife and I essentially did what you all described and agreed to turn it off. It wasn't grabbing us at all. Spring Breakers was just terrible. I turned it off but others convinced me to see it through a couple days later. I wish I just left it off.

Wow, there is a lot going on in here right now. @Casiusco Thanks for your detailed thoughts as always. I'm still wrapping my head around Avatar (having seen it twice) and agree with your point...to an extent. I need some time to completely formulate my thoughts and it's hard right now with my 4 year old constantly trying to talk to me. @Reagh I'm glad I'm not the only one who found that film a bit overrated. I found it entertaining and loved the performances but it was a bit too predictable for me to rate it highly. I put it at a solid 3/5. @BreakBeatDJ That sounds like a film I would really enjoy. Is there an American foodie film you can compare it to? Either way, I'm adding it to my list.

Haven't seen either one. Rogen kept me away from Knocked Up...and just haven't come across This is 40.

Well then maybe I'll take a little peek... 👀 I'm concerned at how much I'm looking forward to this film. I feel like I'm setting myself up for disappointment.

I thought I just had a chance to see M3gan but had to turn around before I got there 🙁. Hopefully next week. This was my first viewing. I'm just not a Seth Rogen or Apatow fan. The 40 Year Old Virgin is probably my favorite of his but I think it has a lot more to do with Steve Carell than anything else. There was a time when I enjoyed some of these comedies but I really grew tired of them after the Will Ferrell period (even during). They're all pretty much the same film. Rogen's films are a step lower in my mind since he so heavily relies on raunchiness and shock. I know I'm in the minority but I just find them boring.

I think I'm going to skip that most recent trailer and try to stay a little in the dark on this one 👍

Challenge #15: Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow These are just some of the movie we like to watch every year... 1 - The Grinch (2018) 2 - Christmas Vacation 3 - A Christmas Story 4 - Home Alone 5 - It's a Wonderful Life It's a Wonderful Life has been a Christmas Eve tradition for many years now so of course we watched it again this year. Christmas Vacation is another one and I look forward to my parents' hysterical laughing during the squirrel scene. Miracle on 34th St and White Christmas are two other that we watch every year. All were planned and all were watched 😉 I'll try to get to challenge #16 later in the week 👍

It has been a long, long time since I watched this one. I remember being impressed with his performance - hopefully I'll get a chance to rewatch this year.

Theory11 Theory11 Premium Playing Cards
GuyIncognit0 replied to R1s1ngs0n's topic in Entertainment Collectibles
While not a set of playing cards, Theory11 has a put together a game (with Neil Patrick Harris) called Box One. Has anyone played this? My sister gave it to me as a gift and I'm intrigued by it. It's supposedly a game meant for one person but she said she and her husband had fun doing it together. I'm curious if anyone else has played this with two people instead of one. -
The Bad Batch
GuyIncognit0 replied to GuyIncognit0's topic in 'Star Wars' Club's Stars Wars Discussion
I agree with this. Clone Wars is mostly dragged down by tons of filler episodes and lower quality animation on the front end but, man, there is some good stuff peppered in. Rebels gets my nod as #1 because of how consistent it is. I'd probably say Rebels>Clone Wars>Bad Batch but I'm currently rewatching the first season of The Bad Batch and I'm overdue for a Clone Wars rewatch. That being said, I think the Clone Wars narrated intros are the tops. -
Season 2 of The Bad Batch premieres today! I believe the first two episodes have been released. I forgot to rewatch season 1 so I will be a little behind, but feel free to discuss here!

This and That (Where Great Conversations Are Happening)

And yeah, I'm just trying to create a bit more. I've become aware of how much I consume vs create and I'd like to fix that a bit. I'm also with @Reagh in trying to stay on top of things -

I would definitely be aware of the climate control issue - especially for the wooden UHD Club editions. My office is climate controlled but is on the top floor. I used to have some editions on top of the book case (close to the roof) until I noticed that the Bumblebee case started developing a crack 🙁 -
I didn't join the GB at all and immediately regretted it once I saw in-hand pics of the FS. So I grabbed the OC after the GB at a higher price with the intention of selling the lentis to make it a bit more manageable. I had a very hard time doing it after seeing the whole set for myself but I had to make a business decision, ha. I was glad they sold quickly but there's still a part of me that wishes I kept the whole thing. If only I had joined the GB from the beginning... I will never doubt WeET again.

This and That (Where Great Conversations Are Happening)
GuyIncognit0 replied to Masterblaster's topic in English
With the new year quickly approaching, has anyone given any thought as to the resolutions they'd like to make? I have two big, but reasonable, ones that I'm hoping will stick. 1) Stay more on top of things and address tasks as they come instead of letting it all build up. Right now this build up leads to a bunch of anxiety and sometimes inaction. I really hope to change this one 2) Create more. My ratio of creation to consumption is way out of whack... Anyone else willing to share? -
