  1. Excited for this one...whenever it comes out. I've alway wanted a premium for this but the existing CMA edition costs way too much on the secondary market.
  2. Still haven't seen this. I'm interested but haven't had the time. Hopefully this is a gloss steelbook with a debossed title like some of the other recent Disney steels.
  3. Good morning, all! I had to take a small vacation from this site because I was on vacation with no access to wifi. I hit my data limit within a day 😅 I'll probably spend a small part of the day catching up around the site so excuse my late reactions to things... Hope you all are well!
  4. Challenge 14 - The Animals Dalmatians on Cruella Red Panda from Turning Red Goat and Pidgeons in Huntchback Porg on Chewie’s shoulder Donkey from Shrek As far as a favorite animal…otters. All of them. They’re cute, playful, and just super fun to watch. Thanks for the challenge, @coupelle!
  5. Challenge 13: What’s Good on TV I choose to watch most of my favorite series by streaming or with a digital copy - mostly because I tend to binge and don’t like getting up to change discs. That being said, I do still have physical copies of a TV series in my collection and tend to pick up new ones if the proper opportunity comes along. Anyway… 1 - Band of Brothers: Arguably one of the greatest miniseries ever made. In addition to a well-written story (while staying fairly accurate), I absolutely love the cinematography in this series. 2- The Victor Borge Collection: I wasn’t introduced to this talented fella until I started dating my wife. This is just a lovely combination of musical talent, comedy sketches, and word play. Inflationary language is probably my favorite bit of his. 3 - Jeeves and Wooster: Again, I was late to this one and didn’t discover it until after House ended. You can see this edition is, well, “loved” because it has received a lot of play. Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry play so well off of each other and some of the secondary characters crack me up. 4- Mr. Bean: Do I really need to explain anything here? Well-written sketches combined with Rowan’s characteristic goofiness and physical comedy makes this one of my absolute favorites. 5 - Planet Earth: This series was my introduction to HDTV. Truly a groundbreaking series not only in that sense but also for getting us closer to nature than we had ever been. As far as series I would like to see receive a physical release: The Mandalorian, Andor, and Loki come to mind. Great idea, @Catgirl!
  6. It’s just separating it by round. So, currently, the points under P are the total points earned for the quarterfinals. It will start back at zero when the semifinals start. I guess it’s there just to allow us to sort and see who had the best predictions for that round?
  7. Wow - this looks like a beautiful set. I personally prefer the style of Theory 11 but these seem a bit more "premium" to me. I love the art work and the attention to detail - especially on the back(?) of the box itself. It looks like there is some intricate embossing around the greenery. Thanks for sharing!
  8. Received a box from my secret Santa today...and sent out theirs! We're getting closer!
  9. @Reagh you had a hell of a day today and are knocking on the door for first....
  10. No worries - it's very easy to miss some things in a flood of notifications. I do it all the time. 😆 Raoul's huh? I may need to check that out...
  11. Great photograph. Traveling for business or pleasure? I used to go to NY every year around Christmas time but haven't been back since covid. I miss it.
  12. They're just being kind and making sure I don't get too lonely down here in the cellar. Every now and then they try to run away but I just turn on the charm and they can't help but come back 😁
  13. The tree is a bit of a sore subject around our house. We have a pre-lit artificial tree that is four levels. I spent HOURS working on the first level because half of the lights were out. I was changing bulbs and fuses and wasn’t having much luck. I must have accidentally bumped a loose bulb and the thing suddenly lights up again. Huzzah! Well, I’m out of the house for a few hours and I come home and notice the tree a bit askew. Turns out the kids were running around it. Guess what? Lights out again! I spent another hour or two with the bulbs and find the source of the issue. I mark these bulbs with some of my daughter’s barrettes so I know which ones to change once some new bulbs come in. So, I go upstairs for some well-earned rest and not 10 minutes later I hear my daughter yelling at my son “Don’t touch that!”. Guess who removed the barrettes?? Back to square one…and there’s three more levels of this $**@.
  14. It wouldn’t shock me if it’s a US thing. They tend to ignore the US site a bit…
  15. It’s going to a tough one but I think the US will come up with the W
  16. I knew you wouldn't stray too far from home. Me? I'm still waiting for the right time to make my move...
  17. Very nice collection! I wish you a quick recovery as well!
  18. I doubt Best Buy will get them. There have been several releases over the years that have never made it this way. The Star Wars and X-men steels immediately come to mind.
  19. Not until December 23rd...then you can let those problems fly 😁
  20. This is all part of my grand plan…you’ll all see soon enough Better stop focusing on what’s in front of you and start checking out that rear view mirror…
  21. Same. Ordered all three and paid extra for the gift bag in the hopes that they will be more likely to survive the trip. I wish Zavvi would just announce all three so I can cancel that Amazon.it order
