Blade Runner (4K UHD/2D Blu-ray Steelbook) (The Film Vault) [UK]

interesting to see them releasing these as steelbooks now. I did buy the larger versions which I didn't mind albeit I missed out on jaws and shawshank but I like these with the slips. I'm sure certain ones will probably evaporate rather quickly like their larger prior renditions.

Instead of new titles in this series we are getting a repackage of old titles.  Hmmmm

All those who bought their mammoth editions must be gutted, but as I ‘only’ bought Goodfellas and Scarface , I’m more than happy to get them in this ideal packaging, along with Jaws when the second wave is announced.

But, we got a crystal paperweight with those! Lol.

*sigh* PET slips.... why, just why?
Still needs 1917 though!

I'm okay with the PET slips, but the ratings logos . . . ugh.  I'm sure they were never going to do a re-design from the original releases, but I wish they would have, and put the titles on the spine instead of the slips (so you could at least have them on the shelf with no ratings logos).  I'd like them more (I've complained about this before, I know, and prob will again. :) ).

EDIT: As @R1s1ngs0n points out below, the above is wrong, the steels do have the title on the spine.

But the steels will also have the titles on their spines, you can see that in the BS.

White title on black spine with only the studio logo at the bottom… simple and clean.

Which is why the PET slips are going directly into the trash can as soon as I get my Goodfellas and Jaws copies.

Oh YEAH!!!  I didn't look closely enough and thought there was a box like the large versions.  Thanks Eli.  That is def better.

My problem with PET slips are simple, they add and remove art from the steel itself as it's put on or taken off. Same with the title, it's on the PET slip front rather than the steel front. Include a clear PET slip instead as a protector if you're gonna do it anyway.
