Someone clearly decided to play a cruel joke on me. Not one, but TWO new Bond steels announced on my birthday, with this one being the Bond film that was released the year I was born.

And both of them are major disappointments 😞

That's why God created steelbook magnets. To right the wrongs......

And now even more pics from other sites.  Only see the front of the steelbooks, so fear the backs of all will be blank.  Sorry @R1s1ngs0n looks like a total of 8 cruel jokes so far, but based on this trend I bet they will all be released.  Although they are keeping with the themes, and are definitely more creative than Dr. No.

Happy Birthday @R1s1ngs0n!  Best to relax, enjoy your birthday, and just forget that all these releases were announced (at least for today). Roger Moore Relax GIF by James Bond 007

So seems like Zavvi is doing the whole Bond slate..?

No idea and tbh I couldn’t care less by now.
No announcements yet for Live And Let Die, A View To A Kill, Goldeneye and Die Another Day which if I’m not wrong, are needed to complete the ‘title sequence’ artwork steels.

Does MGM just hate Bond fans?

What? This is for Bond fans to be honest if they do intro sequence art for all. Are they the most flaunting art pieces? Certainly not, but they are instantly recognizable from their respective title sequences, which are a classic part (to a fault) of the James Bond franchise.
This one is actually my favorite by far of the ones revealed, simple, on point and you instantly recognize it.

Not to mention they're all cheap ;)
