Tokyo Vice is back!  I had no idea that it was even close to returning until I got an alert from Max last night.  Really enjoyed the first season.
 

Michael Mann produced series, he directed the first hour of the first season.  Not sure if he’s directing any of this season or not.

Tonight is the night of the Goya Awards, which are the Spanish film awards. Next week is the BAFTAs, and the Oscars are just around the corner.

 

These kinds of awards make less and less cinematic sense, they reward mediocre films and fail to recognise very good films, all for the sake of the market, or the supposed market that there is now. But I have to admit that I have always liked the night of the gala, the red carpet, to see who triumphs that night, it's fun.

 

My favourites have always been the Oscars, although I've been a bit disenchanted for many years now. More and more mediocre films are nominated.

 

Anyway, have fun today, whatever you do!

I hadn't heard of it until yesterday, but ordered it via Amazon UK. I agree @LeadFarmer, I'm a sucker for all things Second Sight. They haven't put anything bad out yet, in my opinion.
