A few more blind buys to finish the work week. Going to pop a pizza in the oven and watch some movies. Hope everyone has a great Friday evening

I bought Blow Out last year on 4K, but still haven't taken the chance to watch it. I'll need to do that soon, as it sounds like an amazing film (and I hear one of Travolta's best).

It looks great and, this is going to sound ridiculous, features the best wallpaper I’ve ever seen in 4K :)

Man I need to watch Persona again, saw it 20 or so years ago.  Definitely the kind of movie you should watch straight through, no breaks, no looking away, really letting yourself get absorbed.  In my humble opinion.  Ideally every movie is seen this way but sometimes the world interferes.

The bright side for us fans is that we still get to enjoy the projects that he was apart of, in a way he is immortal for us. Hopefully his work in Star Wars helped create interest for a younger audience to seek out the other stuff they may not have known about.

For sure.

The legend lives on through his work.

Rob Gronkowski is doing his Kick of Destiny again this year during the Super Bowl.  They did a new TV ad with Gronk wandering depressed through the desert, alone.

Then all of a sudden, a motorcycle pulls up and it's Carl Weathers. He takes off his helmet and says . . . "This time, you won't miss, get in".  And it's like, yeah, dude has got some serious gravitas, even in this not so great commercial.

FanDuel announced they are adjusting the Super Bowl ad featuring Weathers out of respect.  Curious what they do.  He deserves respect.

I just saw Stallone's own tribute on Instagram.

The Rocky movies are very near and dear to me, so it was pretty touching.
