I think it looks great!  Even where there was CGI or matte work (the shot of early NYC, for instance), it blends well and doesn’t stand out.  It’s a beautiful movie. Can’t believe that steelbook disappeared so quickly.

The tweet (...can we continue to call it that?) that is trending right now in Spain: Mick Jagger dancing a reggaeton song at a party, being 80 years old he's on top of his game.

 

The text says:

 

"Mick Jagger, at 80 years old, having a great time with Farruko in a nightclub and you, at 40, debating from your couch at home on Twitter if the last album of whoever is indie, rock or mainstream because they have surrendered to the market... hahahaha Anyway, life is for enjoying it."

 

This has made me reflect on how we sometimes settle for getting old too soon, how we accept everything we don't like as if it were inevitable, as a condemnation; and we let wonderful years pass us by.

 

Remember this lesson of Mick!

 

Don't forget it today or tomorrow. Goodbye prejudices. Life is to be enjoyed, happiness is the only thing you will take with you to the other side.

@nathan_s82 procedure is do at 12:45 today and you have to be there 1 1/2 hrs. before procedure, we will be leaving to the hospital at 10:45 am this morning… I had to drink 64 ounces of a concoction  to get bowels to clear out (half yesterday, half this morning and of course this woke me up at 3 am to do business and couldn’t get back to sleep 🥱) then no liquids after 8:15 this morning before procedure. 🫤 

 

This is a process I absolutely do not like, other then that 😒

Oh I definitely understand, been there and done it. But I felt so much better after, and I pray you do too.

I've been looking at some Curzon collector's edition BS today, and they are really nice.

 

I don't have any, but for anyone who likes auteur films, they are really appealing. Very nice design, elegant, a very complete choice, and a lot of extras around the films. 

 

Seeing @Manticore4 pictures of the Wim Wenders edition, I'm very envious. 😍

 

I would love to have these three, but... they are not cheap.  Someday I will try it.

Those are so cool.  I didn’t know about any but the von Trier.  I kind of hope they keep putting these out, but my wallet hopes they stop before they get to something I can’t resist.  Looks like there’s also a Ruben Ostlund set as well.
