Hello @Hollywood E Rock,

I live in Springfield, MO. I'm about 3 and a half hours southwest from Saint Louis.

@mwatkins02

Cool, My best friend went to college in Springfield. I've been down there a couple of times to see him play basketball. How are the movie theaters down there?

@Veum,

I would call myself a musicophile (music+philia), becuase I like anything with a great beat. Now my era bgan with southernlock in the late 70's until now. My music appreaciation has always been rooted in the 80s. I just don't get tired of listening to the 80's. Give me a  syntheizer 's, or the magical voice of Steve Perry (Journey) and I'm happy.  My kids have turned me onto The Weekend (right now my jam is Blinding Lights) Lost in the Fire (Gesaffelstein& The Weekend) to name a few. I must say though, some of these new artists I can't understand; singing to fast. Maybe I'm getting old,  But our cartoons were even better IMHO than they are right now. Baz Luhumann's  song 'Everybody Free' sums it up best:

Ladies and Gentlemen of the class of '99
Wear Sunscreen
If I could offer you only one tip for the future,
Sunscreen would be it
The long term benefits of sunscreen have been proved by scientists
whereas the rest of my advice has no basis more reliable than my own meandering experience...
I will dispense this advice now...

Enjoy the power and beauty of your youth
oh nevermind;
you will not understand the power and beauty of your youth until they have faded
But trust me, in 20 years you'll look back at photos of yourself
and recall in a way you can't grasp now how much possibility lay before
you and how fabulous you really looked...

You are not as fat as you imagine
Don't worry about the future; or worry, but know that worrying is as
effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubblegum
The real troubles in your life are apt to be things that
never crossed your worried mind

the kind that blindside you at 4pm on some idle Tuesday

Do one thing everyday that scares you

Sing

They are pretty goood. There is a Hollywood movie theatre, but I don't go to that one. I have a Jeep Wrangler with a awesome  sound symstem , home it would be easy to break into. I have an alarm on it but theives are pretty sophistcated these days. I go to the AMC theatre. This is wear I accrue most of my premier membership ponts.

GOOOOOOOOOOOD MORNING PSYCHO'S in psycho land. Today is throw back Thursday. Let's hear some oldies but goodies.  I will start. Here is one : Journey's song '"Mother ,Father.). I don't think this song received a lot of air time. At least I didn't I hear  this song growing up. This  song showcases Perry"s vocal range.

I was hesitant about getting it at first so missed out on the first pre-order. Then changed my mind and got it through eBay at a relatively reasonable price. Couldn’t have anticipated a restock so I guess my hesitance cost my a few more Euros.
At least I got a nice edition number #99 😬

Congratulations on hooking Casino. I slept through the restocking process. I guess it’s true: ‘Early bird gets the one.’

I did not try to get any of the restock. I was thinking about getting Halloween, as I missed first but I already got the FAC, so I'm good with that. Casino was still available a few hours ago when I woke up, but now all gone.

Here’s another one I discovered many years ago thanks to The Sopranos. I almost never listen to Folk music (especially Dylan 🤑) but this artist was something special and this song is one of the greatest I ever heard, all genres combined. Never get tired of listening to it.

I live in Springield , MO wear the weather will change on a dime. My kids have turned me onto The Weekend, Blake Shelton, Chris Stapleton, SZA and Justin Timberlake, to name a few.  I maybe getting older but I still love a great jam.

Those are some good artists, I haven’t listened to everything they have done, but I have listened to enough of their work to be fans of them.

One of these days we are going to have to link up & catch a movie. It’s me & my girlfriend’s favorite pastime. Lately we have been going to the B&B Theater

We have a membership with AMC also, but The one we are close to isn’t kept clean like it should be.

I was able to secure a copy when it was first released. I posted some photos of my copy here. You have to go down the thread a few post to see all the photos.

Ah, Cream. Wasn't Eric Clapton part of the group until he won't .

He was. But IMHO he was overshadowed by the legends Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker whom I consider Rock’s greatest ever rythme section.

Baker sadly passed away a few months ago.
He was known to be an absolute arse but he’s arguably the most influential drummer in Rock music (yes, even more than Bonham and Moon).

Hi Folks;

I was wondering if someone might be able to point me in the direction of a Premium or Collector's release of;

"Black Swan"

So far, I'm considering this one from Germany, as it includes the OST on a disc.

I'd love to discover what other ones are in the wild though.

Ta!  🙂

Well we go through about 2-3 climate changes a day it feels like 😅 Yesterday it was snowing non stop until about 11:00 then it was sunny and around 10C.

today wake up and its blizzarding again outside and we are estimating around 50-60 cm of snow by tomorrow night. Thankfully we have a nice garage to keep the cars warm overnight so we arent trying to wipe snow off the car all morning. Although, almost 3/4 of the Canadians i know have auto starters in their cars.

Anyone have any fun plans for the weekend?
