When we had the bushfires last year, there was a video of a man driving around and rescuing as many koalas as he could find.

 

One of the comments was from someone in Germany who called him an "Ehrenmann" (it means "man of honour" or "gentleman") and that's where I learned the word.

Deepl is pretty good.

 

I sometimes use it I want to write out/post certain sentences in German here.
