You know, when you are deep in the GB grind and editions you have been on are arriving months later constantly some are lost in the repetition, sitting on the shelf, adding to the collection. But every once in a while something special comes. Today, for me, this was the Akira lenticular edition. Wow. I cant even say how incredible this is in hand. The lenti is clean and beautiful but for me it's the back image. The spot gloss, the rough texturing really is a mic drop for this edition. I'm terribly sorry for those whom missed out as this one was a showstopper.

Surprised this never came up before, or if it did, I missed it.

But someone asked me today about the Akira releases and if they had. English subtitles.? Not sure.  I will check.
I looked and nope.
KimchiDVD lists as follows. Bummer.

Really? No mention on the website. Weird they would not list of it was.

It's not too uncommon @mgurau for Kimchi (sometimes Nova as well) to neglect to mention all stats.

Mind, they still do a 1000% better wrt accuracy than Amazon could hope for. 🙂

I was fortunate enough to get a copy of this beautiful edition. The lenticular is one of the best I've ever seen. I swapped the disc out with the Japanese 4K disc, and now I have the ultimate edition of Akira.
