it's one of those movies where I have to watch it every so often. I usually don't like humor injected into a story, but its so well done here.
A bounty hunter, a gangster and a train robber unite to find a treasure in 1930s Manchuria, staying ahead of their rivals and the Japanese army.

It's awhile away, but I've decided on my pick. I chose it based on seeing it before (at least a few times), it being different than most movies picked so far, and because it's honestly just flat out awesome. Appropriately funny at the right times.
Plus @Veum will love it if he hasn't seen it!
Same director as A Bittersweet Life and lead actor - Kim Jee-Woon and Lee Byung-hun
I haven't seen it in a little while, and I'm in the mood to watch it so, in a few weeks:
the Good the Bad the Weird, I own it on Blu-ray but should be easily watchable via streaming.

I also watched Mulholland Drive last night via 4k Criterion disc. Thank you for your pick @Reagh
I have seen this movie around five times throughout the years, but it has been awhile since I had seen it. Gave me an excuse to watch it in 4k too!
I love this movie, and the rewatchability of it, not only because it is well acted, but because you can connect so many more dots with each watch. I don't think it's meant to entirely make sense, as that would take away from the dreamy state of the film.

thank you for your pick @Noir21, I watched Cell 211 last night free via Tubi.
I'll keep it short and to the point.
I thought the overall concept was exceptional, started out really strong but faltered as it went on. Still really enjoyed it 👍

3) the Silence of the Lambs (1991)

I am noticing on the Cinemuseum webpage for Terrifier One-click that there is a note saying:
AVAILABLE FOR SHIPMENT: 20/03/2023
Can anyone confirm that they have seen that note before? It might imply availability of a boxset before or around that date. I've already got one, just pointing it out for those seeking this set, one of my personal favs.

Loved the RE series. Played the original 1-4 on PlayStation and Code Veronica on Dreamcast. Have to say I really loved CV despite it getting mixed reviews. Might not have been the scariest in the series but definitely the creepiest.
But the original SH games by Team Silent remain the crowning achievement in the horror genre, with SH2 being one of very few games that truly deserve to be called a masterpiece.
I also enjoyed Code Veronica on Dreamcast, never understood the mixed reviews as I replayed the hell out of it.
SH2 is one of my favorites of all time and psyched there is a remake in the works.
Dead Space just received the remake treatment and it is stellar.

@Reagh very nice! I am digging that rotating base, were did you score that at?
I also have a Kimchi It Follows but it's the Lenticular, of course now I want the fullslip now that I've seen it rotate.

another arrival from earlier in the week. Big thanks to @R1s1ngs0n @ksosk @Masterblaster & the MP crew for another gorgeous UHD Club release!
Let the Bullet's Fly
The GB appears to still be open for those that are on the fence.
And on the video game side,
a Collector's Edition arrived for one of my favorite games that just received a remake that is absolutely outstanding!!!!!!! Dead Space!!!! If you like sci-fi and horror, and have not played this game. You need to do yourself a favor and play it on any platform you can.
PS VR2 also arrived, and thinking of playing Resident Evil Village first.

thank you @Fortis93 & @extantsrevenge for Challenge 23: Best of the Best.
Horror is my favorite genre, and in hopes of adding some diversity, for my 5 picks I will showcase some Slasher flicks. Not that Slashers are my favorite, just horror in general. More of a shoutout to Terrifier 2, which I think is amazing.
1) Psycho
2) Texas Chainsaw Massacre
3) Halloween
4) Child's Play
5) Terrifier 2
Because of my age at the time of release, Child's Play (I was only around 7-8) honestly was most likely the first that got me started down this road. I liked books by Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Clive Barker, etc, at a really young age).

I'm curious, now, about whether or not each of these slips was designed specifically for one of the two available Gladiator steels, or if it's just a coincidence that all the photos I've seen show exactly the same thing.... All of the pictures members are posting show the BB steel in the Lenti and the HDZeta steel in the non-lenti. I also noticed that pairing them in that way follows a unifying color scheme. Maybe I'm the only person that put the HDZeta in the Lenti (because both are my favorites among the two pairs) and the BB steel in the non-lenti (white on brown). Now I really want to get home and test my theory.
I've also had trouble with my BB steel, which is currently housed in the non-lenti, but I didn't think to try it in the other slip.
I swapped the steels for the heck of it, and they still fit for me. I'm thinking that there is a slight variance in that foam that was manufactured and some people may of just got unlucky with fit in that way.

@Rambo you are saying your BB steel is easy to take out? 🧐…
mine requires me to have my fingers pull apart the form a little then pull the steel out! 🤨
yeah mine requires zero extra work.
I pulled out the insert, and put the Steel in each edition and thought nothing of it until reading this thread.

Is anyone having a hard time getting your steelbook in and out of the slot...tried many steelbooks and can only get about 3/4 of the way in..and a bear to get back out.
luckily both the HDZeta and BB Steels both fit in mine without hesitation. Actually perfect. Sorry to hear that about yours.

Our friend @Pbsw23’s pick starts tomorrow! The Dam Busters (1955).
This one is available to watch as a rental from Google Play or by purchasing the physical copy. I haven’t found it on any streaming services, but if someone does please let us know. I purchased my edition from Amazon. Really looking forward to this one. I’m watching Cell 211 tonight.
@Reagh@Pbsw23 will an alternate title be picked in this case? Or maybe not necessarily change it but provide a 2nd choice or something. Seems like this is a lesser accessible title than some.
I'll try and watch Cell 211 tonight to catch up in the meantime.

I went OC. Astro looks the best… but I knew I would regret not getting both.
that plus their low print runs make it even more attractive to me.
arg...I'm convinced. It will look nice next to Devil's Advocate and Beetlejuice.
