To make direct orders extra special, CM air-dropped them onto the deck of the pirate ship to sail around the world and get naturally aged by sea water and sunlight
🙃
their logistics require that all packages get sent around the World 3 times each. Because Carlo has OCD

Can someone explain what you guys are waiting for? 😅
Those sets have been released a while ago.. or is it still the GB?a member has been waiting, patiently, for a order they placed direct.
Not GB

Thanks @hansreinhardt for your pick, Solaris.
I had not seen this before, I probably had a good reason at the time 😅
Based on the initial setup of the movie, I thought I was going to enjoy it. Not love it, but at least like it enough so that I wouldn't argue with the film the whole duration.
After 20 mins or so, the cracks started to show. I just didn't care for the overall story arc, or ending.
IMO It was good enough to sit through once, admittedly I wouldn't want to watch this again. But really, I still appreciate the pick as I like to watch films that I missed.

So there is more or less, an open line of communication? And they are lying? wtf.

I will never order direct from CM for this very reason. Same with FAC. I’ve thought about dropping them altogether. If they can’t produce a product within a reasonable timeframe or provide clear (and honest) communication about delays then they don’t deserve my money.
That is a smart move. and I will follow suit.
I have some orders that should of shipped by now, and I've also got some preorders to worry about going forward. arg.
I don't have much experience with FAC direct but will keep that in mind too. Thanks!

I'll be honest and admit that this is rubbing me the wrong way.
While I collect all of CMA's releases, this is making me suspect of them in a bad way, and now I too wonder about my 'preorders' and orders that have not shipped yet.
I hope they don't keep this up, I won't just sit back and watch forever.

thank you @hal56 for your movie pick.
I watched Revanche last night (HBO max, started a free trial), I enjoyed this film, my favorite pick so far.
It was well paced, well written and well acted. I completely agree with @R1s1ngs0n on this one. You hit the nail on the head bud 👌

thank you @lunazero and @extantsrevenge for Challenge 19 : "Through the Decades - a Cinematic Journey"
1930 - Wizard of Oz (1939) Classic film, we have all seen this countless times, and not much to choose from in this decade in my collection
1940 - Citizen Kane (1941) Fantastic film that deserves repeat viewings for many reasons
1950 - Touch of Evil (1958) classic Noir masterpiece, if you haven't seen it, watch it now!
1960 - Psycho (1960) classic horror at its best
1970 - Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978) Love this movie, Kaufman knocks it out of the park here
1980 - Rambo First Blood (1982) it's motherf@cking Rambo! Enough said.
1990 - Freeway (1996) My favorite Reese Witherspoon movie.
2000 - A Bittersweet Life (2005) Amazing story!
2010 - Uncut Gems (2019) really enjoyed the performance from Sandler in this one!
2020 - Censor (2021) one of my favorite movies from the 2020's
I grew up in the 80's so that is my favorite decade, plus The Thing, They Live, The Shining, Rambo, Star Wars, Back to the Future, Airplane, Stir Crazy, Caddyshack, just to name a few, help cement that fact.
I've always had a decent size movie collection, that would fluctuate in size over the decades. I didn't get really serious about having a movie collection until a few years ago. And I have only been collecting Premiums for a little over a year. Glad to say that this hobby is here to stay!

Thank you @GuyIncognit0 for your movie suggestion as I actually hadn't seen that one yet somehow. It's definitely a film that everyone should see.
I watched Cinema Paradiso last night on Paramount+ (Walmart+ subscribers get it as a added benefit).
After reading everyones positive comments on the Theatrical version, I see I made the mistake of watching the directors cut. I am not sure if Paramount+ has both. I say mistake because this was my first watch and while I liked it, I felt it was too long.
I'll have to try and watch the Theatrical version at some point as I enjoyed the overall story.
But as of now,
Directors Cut: 7/10
