Okay, here is GOTG VOL. 3 by Blufans. Thanks again to @Masterblasterand @DodgyDave for the group buy and safe and fast shipping!

Happy to report that the quality control on this release was as good as Shang Chi. As a whole, this is a very good set : Beautiful one click box, solid Fullslip, and good Lentis. Tremendous Steelbook as well. The extras are good as well. However, when comparing it to Shang Chi, everything is a half step below. Good but not great, IMO. Shang Chi was top tier (some of my pictures for it didn't come out well, but in hand everything was stellar). #Teamopenitup

I am a sucker for their wooden boxes and now I'm a sucker for their wooden slips. This is what a premium should be IMO. Stunning set and nice extras that don't overwhelm in volume but are great quality (the double-sided coin is another quality one from UHD Club). #Teamopenitup #get2knowyourpurchases

It's a UHD club wooden box slip.  One of the first GB I joined and I think when I joined it had been open for a long while.  

 

I think I like this better than the other boxes cause this one fits on my shelf.  On the other hand these wooden boxes are ment to be displayed but either way I'm happy with this one

I’m happy to report that my precious just arrived today from Walmart and DUNE PART TWO takes its rightful place in the shelf beside part one. I’m guessing we’ll be seeing a fair amount of these photos here soon! 🤣

 

Now I just need to find the time to revisit this fantastic film.

Thanks! I love me some UHD Club. Can't wait for the Hobitsezzz trilogy. But I'm especially looking for to the Godfather trilogy!

I’m waiting on The Hobbit trilogy, too. Their Lord of the Rings set was freaking phenomenal. I had no idea they were doing a Godfather set, too… another trilogy might by too rich for my blood at this point, but I guess we’ll see. It might be too good to pass up. But do I want to incur the wrath of my wife? 🤔

The Godfather group buy is still open. Some people have only ordered one and two, as you can do that with this GB. This is my most anticipated release by far. Hopefully, they will use the same art as the 4k Steelbooks.

I have been excited about this release ever since joining the GB for it, many moons ago. 

 

It's finally here!!  It's super gorgeous in the flesh.  The drawings and art are lovely, with very sharp colours.  Plenty of lenticulars here too, which are all very clear and the transitions are great.  There's embossed lettering on the slip, nice extras such as the costume designs, a poster plus a rich booklet packed with lots of photos from the movie.

Finally got my HDz LotR Motherbox. Many thanks to KS @ksosk for shipping it to me. 
Got one of  my HDz Barbie too.

Wouldn’t sully my camera by taking a photo of that pink monstrosity. 

Thanks to all for both GBs. HDz Barbie shipping went a bit awry, feck all to do with me though. 

Really pleased to see HDz solved the problem with the lid opening. On the TDK Motherbox the lid creases every time you open it. The lid seems to be folded/seamed in such a way that that won’t be so bad on LotR. 

Anyway, here’s some pics of what being a long term collector of HDz has given me. 
If you are going to do an ultimate set, then look no further than HDz to copy. This is how you do it!
