The National Lampoons Vacation Best Buy Steelbook, with glossy finish. I really like the front artwork. Fits of course as suspected not in the slip of the UK Collectors Edition. Oh well, maybe I'll give those away someday... or throw the cards in with no cardboard sleeve, then it fits. 🤔

Was it the packaging etc that you found disappointing, or the way the movie itself looked, or both?  I love the movie, didn’t even realize it was available in 4K.  If the remastering of the movie is decent then I’d certainly buy a plain-Jane package of it.

No, I don't mean the movie itself, it's great. And it's been available in 4K for a while now. But the fullslip with the scanavo case and artwork didn't create a wow effect for me. And when I pay significantly more than for a simple 4K Amaray, I'm a bit disappointed.

Agreed.  I’m glad the movie looks good, though.  I want to get something more than just the regular plastic case, but haven’t found the right wow/price combination online yet.

But every once in awhile I missed a release due to my membership tier (back when I started and wasn't Gold/Platinum) or make the decision not to participate and then regret it big time (Manta Interstellar, WeET Spider-Man Trilogy come to mind). One of those that I chose not to participate in, and regretted it instantly after the GB was closed, was the release below: Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse One click from WeET.
