A View To A Kill (Blu-ray Steelbook) (Zavvi Exclusive) [UK]

Finally will have all the Bond movies in a steelbook (other than nonofficial Never Say Never Again).  These theme artworks are growing on me.  Obviously, some of them are pretty weak, but at least they are sticking with a theme.  Now they need to release all of them.  After this is done get on with the poster art 4k steelbooks that we all want.

Other forums 😬

France will also get these, don’t know about US but most likely as well.

I believe they are all available to preorder from Amazon France (just no pictures yet on listing).  Any idea how Amazon France ships?  I am not brave enough to order from Amazon as their US shipping within the US is awful and haven't heard that European Amazon shipping is much better.

If we're talking this batch (excluding Dr. No which is a seperate special edition, otherwise it's my favorite by far), then 20 years ago I would have said The Spy Who Loved Me but now it's probably Licence To Kill.

That is true never even thought about the quality of these movies, definitely not the cream of the crop of Bond releases.  Agree Spy Who Loved Me definitely best out of these.  I do enjoy the Timothy Dalton ones as well.  Enjoy World Is Not Enough as well.  Know it is not a good movie, but to me it is Pierce's 2nd best and is just fun action.

I hate every single one of the Brosnan films, with the exception of Tomorrow Never Dies which I find somewhat enjoyable, in large part thanks to Jonathan Pryce.

@Sidewinder which is your favorite here?

Difficult one. I've not watched any of these for many years, but I'm currently in the process of rewatching every Bond movie in order (currently on Live And Let Die) so I'll get to these soon.

When I was younger I always enjoyed TSWLM, TND, LTK, and TLD the most out of this batch (and rewatched these many times). I'm really looking forward to rewatching them soon to see how I find them now.

Goldeneye as well? 😪   That is in my top 5 Bond movies, probably because of Goldeneye N64.

It boggles my mind that this movie is seen in such high regard, both by fans and critics. I don't like Casino Royale as well but I can at least understand why it has its admirers.

Regardless of the quality of this batch, I didn't intend on getting any of these films as I don't consider them to be part of the essential Bond movies that I must own.

My only disappointment is with Dr. No which derserved a far better treatment for its 60th anniversary.

I am confident that at some point all the Bond movies will get a 4K upgrade and perhaps even decent steels. Until then I am perfectly content with my custom steelbooks which I absolutely love.

Yeah I really hope they eventually release 4K versions.

I would love to see a pic of your custom Bond collection!
