Short Circuit 1 & 2

2 more fantastic 80's films mate.

Loved the chase scene at the end of short circuit 2.....

"Oscar, you will not get away! I am really p***ed off!!!!"

And with Bonnie Tyler blasting out!!! Still gets my blood pumping 🎶 🕺

Along with Goodfellas, Once Upon A Time In The West is my favorite ever movie and obviously one I can watch over and over again, any time, any day, but only from start to finish and in one sitting. I consider it sacrilege to watch this masterpiece any other way.

You mean you do not pause to go to the loo 😂

wifey can’t stand to watch a film with me because I’m always pausing to do this and do that 🤣

AFCW is a classic and another movie that nearly made my top 10 list.

I remember going to see it with my mum and both of us were crying of laughter, especially the scene where Cleese tries to get Palin to reveal some important information without stuttering 😂😂😂

Possibly one of the funniest scenes ever conceived.

My list:

Die hard with a vengeance

Armaggedon

Jurassic Park

Face Off

Twelve monkeys

Tropic Thunder

Love actually

Magnolia

Wedding crashers

Sexy Beast

The Rock

Spy Game

Begin again

Life of Brian

Conspiracy theory

When Harry met Sally

Terminator 2

Oblivion

Star Wars Episode III

Hannibal

Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind

The natural

Hoosiers

The great Gatsby (1974)

The producers

The party (1968)

The chase

A night at the opera

Duck soup

It has not been very easy to make a list like that, because there are movies that I can see thousands of times, you have named a few, but I would never see them without the right mood, or without seeing them from the beginning.

In fact, a classic moment is finding it on TV, see a scene.... and... picking up the edition to put the disc in the player.

But... this is my list. I like these films, great to all moments.

There are a few great movies I didnt think of there:

especially Magnolia, Conspiracy Theory and Sexy Beast.

I assume you refer to Arthur Penns Chase?

I'm guilty of this, sometimes depending on when I catch a movie I will finish watching it on television then pull out the disc & rewatch it from beginning to end 😂
