Just got informed by the Army I'm going to be stationed in Alaska for 3 years so gotta start getting things in order and that means a lot of appointments and scheduling

Summers are about mid 70's F and everything after that is between 20 to negative 60 degress F

bloody hell so -51c to 15c, hope your -51 isnt too long.

do you know if you get net access where you going? hoping the army is looking after you properly.

at least that way you be able to stay hooked up to the world.

 

my cousin is in the raf he's squadon leader don't you know

its all right we take the p1ss out of him for it but he did have to do lots of away assignments for years to climb the ladder.

i did feel sorry for him though missing his young kids growning up.

From what I've been told the -51 is only for like two weeks out of the year so not too bad. Yes everyone says they have good internet access there so shouldn't be too bad... Yes I'm already 12 years into my service and got about 8 more until retirement... It's very difficult when you have kids and having to break their hearts by telling them you have to leave anywhere between 8 -13 months. But I'm just staying in Alaska and they'll be with me so it'll be alright especially being able to see this at night

Your plate is going to be full for consuming content in the coming days, but I’m sure you can handle it. One of my best friends does it all the time. Somehow he manages movies, television shows, Netflix shows, & he keeps up w/most sports. I don’t know how he does it

well have had a busy and relaxing day all at the same time, i did £200 worth of shopping this morning 2 trolleys worth 🙄

anyway did my arkwrights bit and restocked the spare room, wont run out for a while now, not sure asda shelves as full now though

 

forced myself to have couple hours kip this afternoon as knackered from 6 am shop run

 

got up about 3pm and now on a world war 2 film marathon, currently watching battle of britain

 

and now its gone 5pm the first cider has been poured

 

and tonight about 8pm will be takeaway had my orders from the missus

 

oh and also bought oil for car going to my dads next week.
