Yep, Prequel comes out next year and Part III is scheduled for 2025.

I hope you are facing your new week with a lot of optimism. 

 

And yes, I' lke a lot the "A quiet place" saga, and I still love my great lenticular collector Umania edition. Probably, underrated when it was released. 

 

And I'm looking forward to more movies, but I'm afraid they'll mess it up thinking only about the money. I hope John Krasinski is really involved.

I have started to wish that creators didn’t feel the need to make content describing every part of the entire history of the world they’ve created.  But the QP prequel sounds potentially exciting; hope they don’t blow it.  It’s a big swing.

I pre-ordered The Prophecy trilogy from Vinegar Syndrome, due out 11/30.  Have to admit, I did it based on my love for the first one, would’ve paid that price for it, even though I haven’t seen the other two.  Has anyone here?  Thoughts?  Looking forward to checking it out, regardless.

The first 3 are well worth the price, I've seen all 5 of the Prophecy Movies. After the 3rd one, Christopher Walken isn't in it anymore, so I see why VS only did the first 3. But I will say having Doug Bradley in the 4th was a treat.

Good afternoon everybody!

 

Today it's raining a lot, this is crazy. As soon as it's summer in October, it's raining non-stop for 10 days.

 

Over the weekend I went to see "Cerrar los ojos", a film I talked about here, by Víctor Erice, an influential "auteur" many years ago, who had not made a film for 30 years. 

It's auteur cinema, slow, not usually liked by everyone. And the film is also long, almost 3 hours. 

 

When I was watching it, there were some quite long scenes, the kind that make you end up having space inside...... wondering what's going on as you feel how long it is. And that made me remember something.

 

A funny brilliant fragment of the filming of the Twin Peaks Third Season.

I've only seen the first three. Personally I feel the first one is the best out of the gate Vigo Mortensen as Lucifer was spot on. The 2nd Christopher Walken has more funny one liners but still very good as Gabriel. The third just my honest opinion the story gets a bit messy and I felt it didn't bring the same quality of the 2nd let alone 1st film but understandable. I didn't even know there was a 4th and 5th film, now I have to put aside some time to find and watch those. With that being said I'd still buy a trilogy of the films together.
