Happy 3rd Day of Halloween! Last night's film was The Changeling by the great Peter Medek. It was great to revist this film, and Second Sight's 4K Limited Edition was done amazingly.

Finally got around to watching the new Wicker man release last night, Final Cut.  First off, still a great movie.

 

The parts that were restored for the Final Cut, that weren’t in the original release, look pretty rough.  Unfortunately that includes the opening.  But man, the upgraded parts that were in there original release look amazing.  There were shots so beautiful and detailed that I had to rewind and look at them again.  Great stuff.

I've had two of the new 4K editions arrive, and I need to crack one of them open PRONTO! Perfect movie for a Friday night in OCTOBER!

On another note, there have been a TON of new members join MP this past week as a result of the Manta Lab Barbie editions sign-up. Maybe we can get a few of them lured to "This and That..." and expand our daily conversations beyond "hope everyone has a great day" and the weather forecast! (I'm guilty for both of those!)
