Good morning!  High of 65, low of 58 in the American upper south, fall is wonderful.  We’re about to have a partial solar eclipse, 50-60% coverage where I am, but it’s cloudy so I’m not sure how much we will be able to tell the difference.

Still, culturally, I don't understand why this is understood as an insult. In Spain it would be praised, and would make their neighbours envious....

 

PS: I have a very good anecdote of the "lost in translation" type between Spanish and German, my first night in a discotheque in Gelsenkirchen. But I can't tell it, the scripp detects inappropriate words and would start to smoke and the server would crash.
