Calm is my middle name, my friend.
But it's not every day I get my knuckles wrapped for using the word "stupid", that too in the context of a phrase being quoted from an ex-president! I was not hurling abuse directly at anyone, was merely trying to quote a phrase, and share a light joke.
Hence my annoyance. But I'll move on..
Thanks

@Veum could you get a life.
I was quoting ex Bill Clinton when he first took office, and was asked by a reporter what his top 3 priorities were.
He replied "it's the Economy, stupid"!
That phrase became folklore, and is widely quoted even today in many a contexts.
I'm disappointed in your sense of history, humour and language, which are all pretty poor.
I do not appreciate your over bearing attitude, so kindly watch yourselves going forward. The respected member in question and I get on very well, and have great banter going on in various threads. Just because you don't have a sense of humour, doesn't mean everyone else on the forum doesn't either.
Have you ever read what dodgy Dave comes up with on this site? He uses far cruder language, but no one takes offence, because no harm is ever intended. It's all in good taste, in fact it's an indication of closer ties and friendship on this site, where we can all talk freely, as long as it's not personal with respect to Race, Religion, Culture or Sexual Orientation. That is what IS and should be considered offensive. But I am not going to waste my time educating you.
If the respected member did not mind, please stop trying to be a policeman, over a word which even my 5 year old says sometimes, and could hardly have been deemed offensive in the context it was used, by ANY stretch of the imagination. For goodness sake!
Good day!

No worries @Casiusco welcome aboard
It really is just a case of searching online, and what particular art tickles your fancy.
It's different from the steelbook market where we all know the best half a dozen retailers or so and stick with them..
There are literally 100's of artists and the tastes are very wide ranging.. It it very personal..
Just Google alternative Movie posters and you will find lots of places to buy
But please take your time to research. You may find you like a particular artist, and you then dig his / her work a bit more.. Or just search for the AMPs of your favourite movies.. You're bound to stumble upon something awesome.
Bear in mind, AMPs are costly, much pricier than the steelbook market, so don't get carried away lol.
Take it nice and steady and enjoy your research. Feel free to reach out on this forum, we can certainly give an honest opinion on something you may be interested in 👍

Hey buddy that's awesome 👌
I see you are partial to Jurassic Park lol
I really like your first one of Jurassic
I brought one recently from Zavvi, but it wasn't great.. Kind of brought it for the sake of it.. But it's growing on me lol.
I like your one better, captures the essence of the film much more

The Jaws poster now easily goes for $5000 USD minimum (if you can find one). When it was first released a lot of people didn't even understand the genius behind its concept - the fact that the parasol's black fin very subtly reminds us of the shark.
Worth every penny if you can find one
It's a stunning print

Haha I don't blame you
If you thought the steelbook market was crazy, then think again
The AMP market is something else, don't quite know how the ridiculous prices are justified, but obviously the market exists.. And demand is out there for the art
Stay well away my friend.. Like the cigarette package warning. AMP is injurious to the wallet lol

Gorgeous art @R1s1ngs0n 🤩
Gratz buddy!
I did a search on that web-site @Parzival and though they had two sheets for The Exorcist, they were original posters.
(I have the Black/Purple original already). 🙂
I'm sure a nice screen print for Exorcist will come along at some point
There's probably a few already..
But unlike the physical media we all buy here on MP, screen prints and art is very subjective
I have quite a few friends who collect AMP, and the variation in taste is staggering
One AMP collector may spend a fortune on a particular print, but it might not appeal to me at all
I will know when I come across a screen print of the Exorcist that I like.. 🙂

I also own and very much recommend this awesome book released by Mondo in 2017. It contains their full catalog up to that point and makes for a fascinating read - The Art of Mondo
Thanks buddy for sharing, Mondo are absolutely fantastic range of artists.
Love their work

Haha I was wondering why anyone hasn't ever mentioned AMP on MP before. It baffled me having come across so many movie buffs..
Those one you posted are beautiful.. That one of Sean Connery Goldfinger is bloody awesome... 👌
Haha I can imagine when you mentioned the word "broke" , this hobby will kill us, and we will all die broke lol

Captain Marvel (WeET Exclusive #005) (WEA 4K UHD/2D Steelbook) [Korea]
in WeET Collection

Haha different strokes for different folks.
I quite liked it, partly because it was watched in anticipation of Endgame, and partly because I fancy the pants off Brie Larson 😄
On a serious note, I found it rather nostalgic.. a trip down the 90s as it were.. a decade which has a fair few memories for me..
