Welcome to our forums. If you found your way here, we're guessing you're just as crazy about steelbooks and other premium releases as we are and we're happy to have you join us!

Thank you very much for all the information. I did have a question group buys when a person is given an option "To Update" or option "One Click".  What does "To Update" mean

@Steel_Doing_It when a GB has the option "to update", that means once all the options available for the GB become known, you'll be able to then update/change it to whatever it is you want...whether that be a double lenticular or single lenticular or regular full slip. 

 

Basically when a new release is announced but there isn't full details on what will be available, those are the only two options given because a one click or "box set" is usually always a given, but the others aren't. 

 

I'm pretty new to this area as well so hopefully I got all that correct. If not, I'm sure others will be along to correct me! Haha

I'd just like to expand on @Sheikah's accurate answer by explaining the rationale for those options. As noted, the only thing we know for sure when there will be multiple editions is that a One Click will be offered that contains them all. Some members will always opt for this, so they're given the option in advance to save thier having to update. So, why would you sign up as "To Update" otherwise? Well, some members also know that they will buy at least one edition from from a favored retailer and putting thier name on the list early will prioritize thier request later. When there are plenty of copies, priority will simply be by list order. On rare occasions, there will be very limited quantities available and in those cases, priority will be by membership tier and THEN list order; so Gold in order, then Silver, etc.
