I have ordered it. I havent seen anything about a new movie. I had to get it the steelbooks look great in hand family member has a set.

Hi there I read above that it's similar to the Best Buy set but searching online, I see that the Best Buy set had both Blu Ray and 4K. I don't need the Blu Rays but just wondering if this set is then identical given there's no mention of Blu Ray on the WB site. I see there's also no mention of any extras or if there would be the extended version (guessing this is almost certainly no)?

 

Would love it if there's a group buy from outside of UK.

Has anybody received this yet?  Interested to see if any spot gloss on the steelbooks.  Someone on reddit posted pics and just looks like full matte like the Best Buy version.  Would be interested if anyone can confirm?

I ordered this recently so it's not yet arrived but I'm happy to post some close up shots when it does 👍

I saw a post on reddit that there's a printing issue with this release and that WB are planning to send out replacements to affected customers early next year (Feb 2022).

 

Mine just arrived and sure enough.... 🥺

I'll post some close ups for you this weekend @Boilersteel - but there doesn't appear to be any spot gloss, they're all a matte finish.

I also noticed some small scratches on the back of The Chamber of Secrets (picture below) as well as a few of the other steelbooks so unfortunately I think I'll get these replaced 😔

Thanks for the pics!  I ended up buying from FNAC and looks like they are the exact same steelbooks, just with bluray instead of 4k discs.  Also have some scratches on back of chamber of secrets, but rest are great so can't complain.  Wish you luck with the replacements!

 

It will be interesting how/if the retailers replace the Deathly (Deaithly) Hallows part 1 in each set.  Pretty amazing that WB quality control didn't catch it.

My replacement set arrived and the majority of the steelbooks have the same scratches on the back in exactly the same places. 😢 It has to be a problem with the manufacturing process. Very disappointing but at least the fronts of the steelbooks are mostly unaffected.
