I'd say I can't wait, but I am definitely gonna have to. Soon as it hits HBO Max I'll be watching the hell out of it, and ordering the steelbook soon as that preorder goes live, and then patiently waiting for the premium edition group buy to open. I'M READY!

When I first saw who was in it I didn’t want any part of it. Now I have seen a few trailers I’m actually looking forward to it plus with it being darker always find it more interesting. I hope it does really well I’m not in any rush for it.

I totally get it! I’m the same way sometimes. I learned my lesson in 2008 though lol. I was like “Heath Ledger as the Joker? What?”. I didn’t hate the decision but I was very perplexed. And obviously he proved everyone wrong. So I’ve learned to wait until I see the film. The trailer do look freaking amazing! I get a Se7en vibe from it which I love.

Was it Pattinson that turned you off a bit? I thought it was an odd choice at first too but I've seen a but more of his work since then and I think he's a great actor. That first teaser trailer really hyped me up

Pattinson's done a hell of a lot to separate himself from the Twilight flicks, IMO. I'm excited to see what he brings to Batman.

 

The Flash, though, has me both concerned and interested. I hope they can pull it off, but if the rumors prove accurate it's definitely not what I wanted in terms of a follow-up to ZSJL. The Batman has me 100% all the way in. Even bought the score the other day. The hype machine is for real! 🤪🤣

It was totally Pattinson. But then I saw him in Tenet and The Lighthouse and I instantly changed my mind. He’s an incredible actor and he’s really tried to diversify himself.

Agreed with Pattinson 100%! The Lighthouse really is where he began to shine.

 

And I’m the same with Flash! I’m excited, but also worried. They’re definitely not doing a ZSJL follow up. WB has reaffirmed that a lot. Like more than they should lol. They want to stray away from it as far as possible. Which is unfortunate because it was so good!

The Flash didn't really hit with me in JL or ZSJL and I have been pretty neutral about the standalone film. I haven't seen these rumors. Are they story related?

I just realized the Tenet is the only thing I've seen him in. I thought I saw him in something else but I guess not. He did a good enough job in Tenet that I walked away thinking I wouldn't mind him getting a chance at Batman. I've heard nothing but good things about The Lighthouse.
