Thing is now that Morbius is on the horizon and that may open the door for a Blade accessible to all ages done right .

 

WWZ had a 12 A rating here in the UK meaning anyone 12 or under could see it with an adult that still had a terrific edge .

Sorry mate, no can do as I don’t even own one! Aaaaaaaaaaaaand never will. Could buy an Elektra Blu Ray for under a tenner. It’s a pretty awful film. 

 

I like you, wanted one for a very long time just because “I collect steelbooks”, but even back in the day (I missed it by months) scalpers were asking double, and even at £100 for Elektra I was like 

 

 

You know one day Zavvi or Target will either re-release or have some new “Exclusive” art, and I’d rather pay £30 for a 4K Elektra Steel, than £300 for a standard Blu Ray any day.

I wouldnt want it anyway as it means nothing to me it was ok  ( alright I got board and flitted in and out the room when it was on )

 

That being said sense has to kick in at some point and no matter how much i want to own or desire something my hobby has to take a back seat right now ,

 

so more than ever I am cherry picking and I love that each one I sign for is personal to me .

 

I have no interest in saying I have something just because I want to say I have it .. thats no fun thats stupid to me anyway

Oh trust me Ann, I’m not knocking @Basil for owning one! And I know he didn’t pay £300 for it either! If I had been able to get one at the at the time, then I would have. Clearly!

thing is i bought at gb price didn't cost me a fortune and i had to fight tooth and nail to get it.

and what i buy i keep dont think i have ever sold a steelbook before, i have given some older ones away to family but never sold.

Just in case anyone is in doubt.... I am not knocking anyone for spending their money on what their hearts desire.

 

I do make a lot of jokes about not opening items, one clicks, expensive card board and even lenti’s being a childs gimmick on here a fair bit. But it is with love and humour. I never mean any malice by it.

 

For me personally, £50 is PLENTY to spend on a Movie. We all know we can buy other versions a lot cheaper. And I will NEVER pay a stupid amount (£100+) for what is essentially a Disc (Probably on Netflix) wrapped in some thin pretty metal and a lot of shiny cardboard.

 

I am just a realist. A Psycho realist given I have shelves full of the stuff 😂 but a realist all the same.

 

Love all of you guys and girls on here that makes it such a great place to be and banter with. ❤️

this bit really for the british readers understand this, stopped for petrol and inside the the petrol station the greggs has opened back up today 

basically 800 GREGGS opened back up today on a limited menu OMG OMG OMG nothing since march and basil had 2 sausage rolls and 1 chocolate donut for lunch.

got home and those sausage rolls where still warm. oh well greggs for breakfast, be rude not to and allow to go cold.
