That feeling when Amazon sends you your copy of the 300 4K Blu-ray and the slipcase is crushed and beat to hell, and the Amray case is cracked. But you don't care because you've got a copy of the HDZeta DL steel on the way to house the disc in and were intending on pitching the Amray and retail slip anyway! 🤣

Lmaooo. Very true. Freaking Amazon man...I'm scared for Godfather.

Me too, although I’m holding off on that one. Saw photos online of how they shipped out that limited Ghosbusters boxset by just slapping a shipping label on it and sending it out as-is. Not even a mailer box or bag, completely unprotected, just the plastic wrap it came in and nothing more. Utterly ridiculous.

Oof - is that really what they did? Now I understand why so many of them showed up broken

I had a Mercari seller send me the Memento Kimchi steelbook in a freaking mailer bubble envelope. It was ridiculous. Luckily nothing happened. I'm not sure what people are thinking when they send these things out!

They think if it’s good enough for the billion dollar corporations, it’s good enough for them! 🤣

Very sad. Wish people treated them like the gems we see them as lol. So I'm definitely spent on premiums now for the next two months I'm sure. 😅

I had an eBay seller send me pics of how the steel was being packaged for safety, just as a courtesy. Pretty cool! And it gave me a really positive first impression and bit of confidence that it’ll arrive safe and sound.

I remember when Amazon was small and took care of its customers. Ordering books or movies, they’d shrink wrap them to a board, which was glued to the bottom of the box, and then packed with bubble wrap or those air bag thingies. You’d think they were shipping you an infant it was so swaddled in layers of protection. Those were the days, man. They don’t do it like that anymore…

I’ve had this happen too. It’s made me ask how they are going to ship ahead of time.

Just yesterday I received a couple of steels from overseas that were two Zavvi boxes taped together side by side. That was new

Hahaha, wow, such a freaking change compared to today! Yeah, man, it's a tough compromise with the cheap ass shipping and how fast it ships. My client worked for Amazon and told me he was looking at hundreds of packages in an hour. It's insane. They just wanna get through the work shift lol, which sucks for us as media collectors. It's a lose-lose.

No the position has not yet been filled as we have not yet done the ORG randomizer yet , guess we could do it sometime tomorrow or Monday morning....

As for the Empty box sets, if you get the MOtherbox i could send you also the OC empty boxsets that I have, they are not really bad , just the rest are not in the condition to where i would feel comfortable selling them.  I mean if you buy the Motherbox yo have nothing to loose on my offer as its no costs for you ... your call though , just let Nils know.

Take care
