Assuredly, Hollywood takes "artistic license' with every film produced. Some are more blatant than others of course. I'd suggest this film is not out to mislead folks, so much as it was trying to cram so much of what it had to say into a two hour show. I can relate to that but as you suggested, hard core fans (of any subject) sometimes need to grit their teeth in order to swallow...😉

It's not a bad show, by any means, just not accurate.

@Grendel I totally understand what you mean, the kids are actually making an appearance in this too in flashback scenes I think I heard. But the cast of adult characters is pretty solid. James McAvoy is bill and Jessica chastain is Beverly, which i think will really work. I could be wrong... I'll know more when see trailer but I have a good feeling about this. 😁

Also brushed over mainly the poor decision of playing Sun City South Africa .  At the height of the fight against Apartheid,  that left them virtual pariah's of the entertainment/ music world .

To have spotlighted Mr Mercury's partying would have been a huge dis service to all .

We where watching a program the other night and Brian May is fighting to save the Hedgehog by funding rescue and vet centres  . As our Hedgehogs are now critically endangered numbers have dropped 97% in 60 years 😱😱😱

 

As well as setting up the Phoenix Mercury  Trust . All 5 of them deserve a SIR at least .

 

Kick a ball in a net letters before or after your name stop using inappropriate language ridiculous because they had the bright idea to call themselves after Liz the 2nd😤😤😤😤 .

 

Sums it up . 

 

Rant over normal service has resumed ❤👍

It will be interesting to see the fan box office response so soon after the tsunami  of Bo Rap 🤗❤❤

HAPPY FRIDAY to the people visiting the English room today. After yesterday's drop of IT chapter 2. I was wondering what else people were looking forward to for the rest of this year movie wise. For me as a massive tarantino fan I can't wait for this.... Some people don't like his movies the way I do but I've always been a massive fan of his since I first seen reservoir dogs. Love all of his movies. 

I'm also looking forward to the new terminator (which I'm really hoping it's as good as I hope) and the long awaited zombieland sequel which we don't have any trailers for just yet. I liked the first teaser trailer for child's play but then they released another one and made it look 💩💩

 

Anybody looking forward to anything I can check out a trailer for ??

For the rest of the year I really look forward to Dark Phoenix, Terminator, Rambo 5 and John Wick Chapter 3. A lot of Action coming our way ☺️

@extantsrevenge I would watch all of your suggestions... I don't mind a bit action at all. The only thing I didn't like was the dark phoenix trailer. Felt it showed the whole movie. I really much prefer a real teaser trailer that don't give too much away... 

 

And detective pikachu for me is an easy pass for me. I like Ryan Reynolds but that's not one that appeals so me so.... 😂😂
