I think the reaction is less to do with Blade Runner than the utilization of the "floating heads" in so many CE releases.  Again, this is a legitimate and thoughtful design and creative decision, but some don't love it.

 

I think another issue is that you've been so effective in your title selection, picking titles that nearly EVERY member would want in their collection, there are more people who feel disappointed when the art isn't exactly what THEY would want.  That's not your fault, but something to keep in mind when you process the feedback.

For sure seeing them side by side shows the artist definitely met his mission even if it’s not to everyone’s taste.  Still think it’s a great looking art.
 

Just need some T2 now… Got about 10 naked steels that need a home.  🙄

They’ll release another slip when they do the 4K release in the future I expect.

Only just got around to watching this properly.  

Has come out really well.  Lenti looks nice and clear with decent depth for a flip flop.

@ksosk Also, really don’t ever feel the need to pardon your accent.  Your English is great.  There’s places in England where I’d have a harder job understanding locals talk 😄👍🏻

Steelbook was getting some hate originally but I really like it.  The colour is nice and rich.

This was one I finally gave in and joined while drunk but couldn’t remember what I went for.  
 

Just checked and I’m glad to say old drunken me decided on the OC.  So wise.

My favourite has to be Batman in the Dark Knight Trilogy with John Wick a close second.  Death Note is class though.

Sarah Connor and Ripley are my favourite roles played by women I think.  I mean there’s so many more but those are the two for me.

The Dark Knight - Best Supporting Actor - Heath Ledger…. Enough said.

Blade Runner 2049 - Best Cinematography & Best Visual Effects.

Terminator 2 - Won 4 but Best Sound and Best Visual Effects stand out!

Interstellar - Best Visual Effects.

The Matrix - Similar to T2, won 4 with Best Sound and Best Visual Effects stand outs and well deserved!

In case it’s not obvious, I appear to put a lot in to visual effects 😄
