    Perfect Blue from the great Satoshi Kon.

     

    I choose this as the Crime, Psychological Thriller will fit perfectly to some of the previous choices, this way members not so familiar with Anime will hopefully not be alienated. Additionally the movie is only 81 minutes long, but is able to deliver one heck of a story. I think is a good Anime movie to show what Anime is capable of. The Animations are terrific too.

     

    My condition is that you watch the movie in its original Japanese language with english subtitles (or subtitles in your language if available). I watch every Anime in Japanese, as like with live action films the original acting is what will give you the best experience. I simply can't stand dubs.

     

    In the US you can currently buy a great Steelbook release. Also available to rent for $2.99 on amazon.com Prime. Maybe @BreakBeatDJ can help a little with the info how to watch this.

     

    I will most likely do an Anime Movie Week next week and will rewatch the movie then and post my thoughts when it is my time.

     

    This one of my favorites. I wish we had stories like this today in Anime.

    the elbow is getting back to normal, but the knee is still swollen however a little less then when started 🤨

     

    Now my right knee on the top of it is in minor pain (could be arthritis in it IDK 🤷‍♂️) 😑

    I was so sad when hearing Mark Lanegan passed. I loved his stuff with Screaming Trees, Isobel, and The Mark Lanegan Band. I was able to able to snatch one of the Desert LP Compliations at a concert, so I will always cherish it.
