Challenge 10! @extantsrevengeasked for 5 different types of handheld weapons from 5 different films. Here goes! 1. Tenet - handguns 2. 300 - spears 3. Polymimetic blade from Terminator Genysis 4. Kick-Ass’s billy clubs 5. Ash’s chainsaw from the last two original Evil Dead movies My favorite hero and villain weapons, though… hmmm. Luke’s lightsaber is definitely up there, along with The Terminator’s mini gun and Ash’s chainsaw. For the bad guys, the T-1000’s blade arm.

Not familiar with this one! I never did the Scandinavian adaptations… still bummed Fincher, Daniel Craig, and Rooney Mara never got to make any follow-ups to Dragon Tattoo.

OK, my OCD got the better of me and I had to dig through a bunch of stuff, so confident was I that I could find five soundtracks. So, Challenge 9 accepted after all, @Gentleman! Of course, I had to have soundtracks to one of my favorite film trilogies! So, here are the Hans Zimmer CDs for Nolan’s Batman movies. The Zimmer love continues with his Man of Steel score, which came in a steelbook! This was an amazing rediscovery, so thanks for making me dig this up!!! Here it is with HDZeta OC box set. 😁 And last but certainly not least… I’m a big Trent Reznor/NIN fan, as well as a fan of David Fincher. So, naturally, I HAD to have the soundtrack for The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. (Sidebar, but I absolutely love the way Fincher’s films were packaged back in the day, with digipacks and slip covers — they’re really nice pieces of physical media made all the more special because of their packaging.) While digging around, I found the soundtrack to The Sopranos, too — one of my all-time favorite shows with one of the catchiest theme song ear worms ever. I also found my copy of the Magnolia soundtrack with Aimee Mann. It’s a great listen! But not pictured because, for some reason, I apparently never bought the movie itself! 😂😂😂 Gonna have to fix that one of these days… As far as the first soundtrack I ever bought… I don’t have a freaking clue. I’m guessing, though, that it was for a Star Wars score box set for the OT. I do have memory of working at Best Buy and getting a copy of The Phantom Menace score and listening to Duel of the Fates over and over leading up to the movie’s release.

Listened to it with the sound off at work, so I wasn't fussed about the language! 🤣🤣🤣 The steel looks great (kinda wish they'd have included a slip for it other than the motherbox itself, but that's just me being nitpicky), and the tin is bigger than I was expecting, too. Not too shabby!

Agreed! I'm in love with that shade of red they chose. I'm looking forward to seeing some photos of this thing in people's displays, should look really nice.

Damn, these are looking good! I hope the Human Motherbox lives up to the very first round of beauty shots they showed off way back when. That Amazonian one is a beauty though.

Marvel and DC films have their own shelves, though, and the Bond singles are all together in the Bs. I have been toying with the idea of separating my premiums, though, but there’s so few of them at the moment I just keep them with the regulars.

Hope this means Cavill will be keeping very busy in the DCU! Shame we can’t have both, though, given how much he loves both Superman and Geralt. But I certainly know where I’d rather he focus his energies on!

Agreed. Part of the problem, I think, is that we've been back at square one with setting up the post-Endgame dynamics and laying the groundwork for the saga to come. And it's been pretty rough. I can't help but wonder if some of the TV shows would have better served the characters as movies, instead. I have high hopes for Phases V and VI, though, since we're getting the return of characters like Ant-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, Captain America, etc.
