It feels like Phase IV has been more misses than hits, at least for me, but I'm hoping Wakanda Forever and Ant-Man can really deliver on what they're promising. Both have had phenomenal trailers, and I'm very excited to see Kang make his MCU movie-debut after introducing one of his variants in Loki. I'm also keeping my fingers crossed we get this as a steelbook next spring. This sucker is begging for some embossing!

I'm curious to see if the international retail editions are different, but will probably just stick with the Best Buy one unless/until we see some premiums start popping up. And whether or not I actually like the movie... 🤣

YES!!! And in the 70s today, tomorrow, and Tuesday, too. It's a nice, brief, return to summer before the snow hits harder (we got some flurries but nothing stuck on Friday, I think?). Just got my snowblower maintenanced and ready for winter. Figured I'd be able to do one last round of lawn edging and clean out the cracks between the drive, but both batteries for my whipper are dead...so, that's a project for later this week, I think. I'll take whatever last bit of warmth we can get though!

Pictured here are some horror boxsets from Second Sight — Dawn of the Dead, Dog Soldiers, and The Witch — along with Criterion’s Night of the Living Dead, and An American Werewolf in London from Arrow. Hopefully this meets all the proper criteria! First movie that creeped me out? 🤔 Probably A Nightmare on Elm Street! Back in the day, our ABC affiliate used to do midnight horror showings and my parents wouldn’t let me stay up to watch it and were very concerned about it giving me nightmares. I taped it and watched it in the warmth of a Sunday morning. And proceeded to have the crap scared out of me! 😂 As far as this debate on The Thing and Alien as horror movies, count me among those confused as to how this is even a debate in the first place. They are both absolutely horror films, 100%, fullstop, and are classics among the genre. 😁🍻

Went with the DL for this one. I haven't owned a copy of this movie since DVD and right when I was about to spring for the 4K disc, I caught wind of Manta Lab's plans to do a steelbook for this some time ago. Glad I waited! That steelbook art is absolutely incredible.

And of course this is announced just a short while after I grabbed the Best Buy steel second-hand... 🤦‍♂️

Now I'm just bummed all over again that we lost Paxton... 😭

'Bout damn time they got Cavill back and started working on a new Superman flick for him. (I just hope this paves the way for JL2 and a conclusion to the Knightmare storyline....but I probably shouldn't hold my breath on that one...)

Mike is the nickname for my full name, Michael, H is the initial of my last name, and 5856 are the numbers AOL gave me when I signed up for their service when I finally convinced my parents that we needed the Internet as a teen back in the ‘90s. 😂
