Cheers and thank you for the kind welcome and info links, I will be reading them in short order.  In the meantime, I do have a GB shipping question.  Where would be the best place to ask about hub shipping?  I live in Poland and I do not know if there is a hub near me.  Thank you in advance for your help and kindness.

When you join a GB, there's a form you fill out that has you check hub shipping, or direct shipping (if available). I'm not 100% sure who/where the hub shipping for Poland would be located, but I'm sure @ksosk @Masterblaster @Scary Hair one of these fine people maybe be able to answer that!

Thanks for the info.  Any idea where?  Please forgive my ignorance, I have never done a GB with hub shipping only so I need to try to weigh my options in terms of travel time and schedules and such.

When you join a Hub Group Buy, you have to be very patient. 

There are many factors that can delay the final shipping from Germany to you. 

If you have tight schedules to keep, then I suggest that Hub shipping is not for you. 

 

Where the hub actually is, is irrelevant. You do not collect from Hub. It is sent to your house/registered PayPal address.

Ok...now I get it; I am a little slow on the uptake.  What I pictured was something like the system we have here in Poland where packages are shipped to an automated kiosk like InPost and then the recipient receives a notice and goes to the location and picks up their parcel.  If I don't need to pick stuff personally, the hub shipping will work just fine...beauracracy in foreign countries has taught me all tge patience I will ever need.  Thanks again for the info and help; it is much appreciated.
