Happy to join your international group from Canada.  I am an occasional film critic with an M.A. in Film theory, and I own over 3000 moves on disk.  I also have a YouTube channel called---  John Villeneuve:  The Top 50 Films of 2010;  and should you want to see other years (to the present) then simply add the subsequent year you wish to view, i.e.,  2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and lastly, 2021.   I generally attend TIFF every year so my Top 50's tend to include a lot of films that do not come out until the following year, so that is why, for example,  if you type,  John Villeneuve - The Top 50 Films of 2021, or go to the link (below),

you may discover that a  lot of the films are just being released now in 2022.  However, some films never get a release date in North America.  Nevertheless, if loved, they will make my Top 50 list.  That is all I have to say for now.  I look forward to reviewing your site.  Take care.

 I’m a collector too that started w/Best Buy/Target exclusives that really got me into the Premium editions (I started way back though  & gradually upgraded from VHS to DVD to BD to 4K oh my 🤣). then I was fortunate to find out about this terrific forum MP from another forum I followed & MP took over my #1 place since March ‘19 hey 👋

Greetings Veum.  Thank you for your generous welcome.  I, like you, started with VHS, to DVD, to Blu.  I also have hundreds of FYC screeners because I am a voting member of The Independent Spirit Awards, The IDA Documentary Awards, etc.  But because of the watermark on the screeners, I often purchase the films which appear in my yearly Top 50 lists that are featured on my YouTube Channel.  At any rate, you have given me a lot to digest, so I will begin now.  Thanks again for your graciousness.
