Agreed! It's been a while since I've seen a Wes Anderson flick, but this one looks pretty dang great, IMO. That cast is pure 🔥🔥🔥

I do hope this is the last one, to be honest. I'd truly hate for him to die making another one of these things. That said, I think he looks pretty damn good for 80, and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't excited as hell for another Indiana Jones flick. I just hope this series goes out on a high note and is not another "they should have just stopped with the third one" kind of deal.

looks ok but then originally that could be said about the 4th from the trailer and reality is was a complete turnip.

Mr. Ford looks very good for 80... I kinda getting tired of this ageism thing, you know we still have feelings and like to enjoy life to its fullest if we can! 😏

Yeah, I agree.  I have no prob with Ford doing this movie at 80 at all, Ford is just as skilled an actor as he has ever been.  

 

My issue is to what extent the filmmakers use whip pans, 20 frame shots, etc. to have the camera do the work the actor can no longer do, creating the perception of action when it's not really there.  I hope they have written this FOR him at this age, he is still very compelling, and his incredible capacity for 80 could be used creatively.  

 

Indy is a smart/daring/funny/brave action hero, I hope the filmmakers have come up with creative ways to show that without relying on him jumping 10ft spans between buildings or giving a beat down to five 30 year old ninjas . . . or the camera giving us all seizures from unstable tracking shots, and blink your eyes editing.

 

We will see.

I have some faith that James Mangold will not resort to these sorts of tricks seeing how he handled Logan.

 

I'm super excited for this and would lying if I didn't admit to getting a little misty when the Indy theme with extra finale gravitas kicked in during the trailer.
