Danke Leute für Eure Anteilnahme.

Das miese an der Sache ist ja gerade, dass sie eigentlich wegen einer Hüft-OP im Krankenhaus war, das alles gut verlaufen war, vom Krankenhaus direkt in die Reha. Dort mit Reha angefangen und war guter Dinge. Dann auf einmal bei einem Training schlecht Luft bekommen, die Physio sie noch untersuchen lassen, "positiv", ab ins Krankenhaus, dort schon Schnappatmung. Über Atemmaske selbstständig nicht mehr in der Lage gewesen genügend Sauerstoff aufzunehmen, also Beatmungsmaschine und künstliches Koma. Dann Lungenembolie festgestellt, Leber und Niere arbeiteten auf einmal nicht mehr richtig, die Not-Dialyse zur Vermeidung der körpereigenen Vergiftung wurde dann seitens des Arztes nicht mehr angegangen/empfohlen, da sie ohnehin, selbst wenn sie wieder "fit" geworden wäre, größte Folgeschäden davongetragen hätte und diese wohl eh nicht überstanden hätte. So hat man sie eben friedlich einschlafen lassen... *seufz*

Das fiese an der Sache: seit Zugang Krankenhaus für die Hüft-OP hatte sie keiner mehr live gesehen, wegen der Sicherheitsbestimmungen. Tja am Ende war es dann leider Corona innerhalb der Reha-Klinik, wo auch immer, der dem ganzen den Stempel aufgedrückt hat.

Ich habe es schon so oft gesagt, aber nochmal: Bitte passt auf Euch auf ! Der Mist ist schei*** gefährlich !

Und wenn ihr irgendeine(n) Corona-Verweigerer(in) trefft, haut der Person gern in meinem Namen eins auf die Zwölf ! 👿

Far be it from me to get on a soap box, but outside of the many lives lost, and the livelihoods either destroyed or irrevocably damaged by the series of events that have transpired this year, one of the greater tragedies was witnessing people whom you thought or had faith in to be logical and rational amidst the panic and chaos, whose judgments you could trust on a normal day, completely change or reveal their true colours even the face of overwhelming evidence.

 

I generally adopt an apolitical or neutral outlook on things, I try to be a 'live-and-let-live' type of person, but I'd be lying if I said that this year hadn't challenged this mindset or provided enough cause for me to re-evaluate it in some ways. Especially in circumstances where your own life and the lives and wellbeing of those around you are in the hands of others, perhaps now more than ever.

Mein herzliches Beileid Daniel @raylight. Das braucht wirklich keiner. Leider kann man sich nicht zu 100% schützen, zumindest nicht die arbeitende Bevölkerung 😔😕!

I finally got around to seeing WW84, and this point, I'm seriously starting to question my own taste in films. I found myself in the awkward position of enjoying it. 

 

Without sounding blasphemous, it almost felt like if Richard Donner's Superman I & II met Cecil B. DeMille's colourful, mythical epics. I had fun with it.

I envy you on a certain level cause I really wanted to like it. But for me its a razzie candidate in all categories, especially editing and screenplay (IF THERE WAS ONE)

Even the fx were embarassing for such a huge budget. Later on last night i had the pleasure of watching Another Round. And it was like night and day: a movie with a Story to tell,  no preaching and three dimensional characters you care for.

It could be so easy ..

I try to judge each film based on its intentions and how well it's gone about executing them, and that department, I think WW84 does a solid enough job. 

 

I'm looking forward to checking out "Another Round" based upon the strength of Thomas Vinterberg's previous effort, "The Hunt", which is one of my favourite films.

Have you seen two other Vinterbergs,  Festen or Its all about love? If not check them out. Both great imho.
