Happy Labor Day from Wyoming where it is a crisp 63°F/17°C Fall morning. We seem to be the only spot in the continental United States that did not experience all the 90° heat in August and early September that the entire rest of the country endured. 
 

Happy “official end of summer” to those who were lamenting that fact….

Wishing you all the best for your recovery, Paul! Having lived in humid Boston for 35 years before moving back to my home state of Wyoming, I can sympathize about sweating in 90°F/32°C heat+humidity. The only thing I don't miss is the extreme HUMIDITY (and Boston was evidently very brutal this summer). Luckily for me Wyoming has very low humidity, between 35-45% (it's very arid, almost like a desert but not quite that dry).

Hi everyone! 

 

In Spain these days there were very strong storms, and floods; but not in my corner of the map. A month ago it was very hot, in many parts of Spain it was excessive, but not in my corner, where it was pleasant.

That has made that this year more English tourists come here -families, not Ibiza lovers... you know...- and you can hear more foreign sounds in the street than ever.

 

It's funny: at a time of climate change and extremes, paradise is the middle ground. 

 

Well, it's wednesday.... Be good and have fun! I have this week for vacation... to give a good push to my renovations. It's one of those situations where the more you do, the more things you find that need to be done.
