Uhd does it have a l steelbook?

 

And I give my take if doesn't have a steelbook, it's not complete for me personally I'm a steelbook collector and that won't change

 

The only exception was lotr and hobbits but they where additions to where I had other steelbook already and when I had some spare money.

And other steelbook releases fell off a cliff at the time.

But always a steelbook collector first and always first.

No, it doesn't have a steelbook. That is true.

 

But this is a different league. 

 

The other editions struggle to offer steelbooks, as if they were monuments in the town or city square, depending on the film.

 

What this trilogy offers in UHD Club DP series, like the other 4 Nolan films they have distributed, is monumentality, it's the pyramids of Egypt, it's touching with your hand something big, heavy, elegant, rotund, beautiful; it's the monolith of 2001 made real; it's putting it on the table and that movement sounds like authority. They are beautiful, and yes... they don't have a steelbook, and I understand you... because there was a time in my life when I thought exactly the same as you.

 

Then I bought "The Prestige", on John's recommendation, and that changed everything.

 

 

You put it on the table and without moving it seems to put the others to shame. With its corners, its lenticular covers, so big, including so many things inside, to hold them carefully, that thick, rigid cover that you know is not like the other,; picking it up like someone who picks up a piece of stone in Giza and thinks: 2000 years of history are staring at us!!

 

Well, a dark knight contemplates me. And when I take it in my hand, with strength, with care, I feel its power.
