Basically agree with you, I see that part differently - but not because I'm a big IB fan now. If I find kangaroos ugly and koalas super cute, I don't have to do without a documentary about Australian nature. If there is this documentary with two artworks, where a kangaroo glares at me or a koala smiles at me, it should be clear what I choose. I'm not asking for the eradication of kangaroos in Australia.

There's an Australian film made in the 1970s called "Wake In Fright" that features a controversial scene that involved licensed hunters going after Kangaroos (though no Kangaroos were harmed).

To this day, you have a choice to watch the censored version (with this scene removed) or the uncensored version with the scene playing in its entirety.

I think it's a good way to approach something that may be controversial or sensitive.

Have both options available.

Fine with me as long as the original versions have always priority

While not comparable to Nazi symbology, the original version of "Wake In Fright" was important as it put pressure on the Australian government to ban the killing of kangaroos for the pet food industry and it succeeded.

And the film itself is really about the dark and toxic side of Australia's past and culture.

Important lessons are learned from history so as to not repeat it.

just see CM inglourious and really really like lenti artwork BUT has anyone noticed on the beauty shot of the lenti the words "artwork pending approval" 😭

could be up for that provided that WAS the artwork

@extantsrevenge nils take it nothing going to happen until approvals come thru first on the artwork, before a group buy????????????
