Mir geht es ähnlich. Ich hatte die gleichen Gedanken (letzte Woche, meine ich) hier auch schon geäussert.

BDs und UHDs sind aufm Server in bester Qualität (ich kaufe sie), ausgestattet mit eigens designten Wallpapern und Menüs im schicken Outfit via Kodi, kombiniert mit Backstage-Material und Hintergrundinformationen, präsent im Haus über OLED, später Heimkino etc.. Das passt und gefällt mir, ja, ist eigentlich der Kern meines Hobbies.

Von Streaming halte ich (u.a. qualitativ bedingt) nicht viel, abgesehen von Einmalserien.

Angetan haben's mir die guten alten "Art-of"-Bücher und auch hochwertige Resin-Figuren oder sonstige gut gemachte Goodies. Ich ertappte mich in den letzten 12 Monaten immer mal wieder ernsthaft bei der Überlegung, ob ich nicht komplett auf diese Dinge (Goodies, Figuren, Bücher etc.) wechsle und packaged media lediglich noch in einfachster Form für die bestmöglichsten Video-Files kaufe. Qualitativ hochwertige Streams für Privatbesitz - ähnlich guten Audio-Musik-files - gibt's ja (noch) nicht.

Die Tatsache, dass die Preise durch die Decke gehen und die Editionen immer liebloser werden, wenn man mal von Manta, WeET, Plain etc. absieht, dämpfen mich einfach sehr.

 

Nicht zuletzt hat mir auch die Geschichte mit den 550 "verlorenen" Dollars bei der Terminator-MAG-Box sehr schwer zu denken gegeben und ist vielleicht sogar ein Stück weit der "Anschubser" bzw. "Wachrüttler" für mein zukünftiges Handeln. So etwas habe ich einfach bisher in keiner seriösen Branche erlebt. Es zeigt, wie schamlos Sammlerleidenschaften mittlerweile ausgenutzt werden. "Du bist Sammler, da gehört dieses Risiko halt dazu", "Ein Sammlerherz ist ein Warteherz", "Ein Sammler muss eben Geld ínvestieren" und all den Scheiss. Ich kann es nicht mehr hören.

 

Momentan tut es mir noch zu weh, mich von all diesen Editionen zu trennen. Aber bei einer fortschreitenden Tendenz, wie oben beschriebener, wird das ganz schnell vorbei sein bei mir.

Hi John,

 

the parcel of the Terminator-MAG-edition is (reg. the tracking infos) back to the retailer - already in November 2021.

The parcel has never left China.

 

We have an open email conversation (PM) since January and there are some people working on it (Nils, Ksosk, LeGonze), but without success.

So, I think the money is gone.

Was there not another kind of situation with you and a MAG item ? Cant really remember without looking back through stuff that will only take time.

 

I disagree and would ask you NOT to post anything except the facts to this matter , once it has been stated from the Retailer as such , no need to muddy our waters with 

statements like "500 dollars lost".

 

Im saying this because i have just had ALOT of stuff over the last week arrive from China from way back in OCT 2021!!! Tracking was all messed up , showed it never left on some, showed it was already delivered on others and others the tracking just "disappeared" for a while .  

 

You cannot begin to start to understand what kind of troubles they have sending out so try to avoid spreading unverified statements like that .  Also to say that the Retailer does not care or that nobody does is also not the way to go.  

 

I take offense to the statement you made because we work VERY HARD and CLOSE with the Retailers that we deal with and to suggest they done care is like suggesting we dont !

So yeah i just checked , it was the LAH MAG , and you had a positive outcome of that even though it could have went differently so please once again try not 

to be so frustrated that non facts are spread.

Yes, "Das Boot" was damaged and "LAH" was damaged as well.

For a LAH a got a new one from you.

 

I have a really good relationship to MP - I would never assume or say, that this is or would be a problem caused by MP.

It is just frustrating, that there is not even a answer or statement from MAG regarding this situation.

 

I will write nothing about this situation again.
