Greetings from the Pacific Northwest

Wow! I'm thankful for everyone's warm welcome for this particular newbie. Thank you so much to all the MP members for making this community a friendly environment.

 

I'm from the U.S. in the Seattle area, formerly home to the legend, Marshawn Lynch. My username is a play on his nickname (Beast Mode) because my name is William and a friend decided to call me Will-the-Beast one day which I suppose is a lot more creative than Will-I-Am. The nickname stuck and here we are.

 

I have always been a fan of physical media since childhood, because I'm a sucker when companies go the extra effort to enhance the packaging, provide some additional goodies, and make something a rare collectible item. I just can't resist. 

 

 

Perhaps I'm dating myself here but my favorite fandoms include:

- Power Rangers (OG)

- DC (particularly the Holy Trinity)

- Star Wars

- Marvel

- LOTR

- Harry Potter

- Fast and the Furious (lol, I know)

- Anything from Stephen Chow, Scorsese, Joon-Ho, Nolan, Villeneuve

 

I've started collecting steelbooks since late 2018 and so far have a collection I'm pretty happy with thanks to Best Buy, Zavvi, and eBay. My last steelbook purchase was Pacific Rim. Now, I feel like I've peeled that extra layer of the onion/gone down deeper in the rabbit hole/<insert another analogy here> and have discovered the concept of GB's and found this site.

 

I joined now as I'm interested in seeing what versions of Zack Snyder's Justice League will be available, but I'm sure I'll be staying a member long after that.

 

My holy grail would be a 4K version of TDK trilogy. Hopefully we'll get that some day.

 

 

I'm excited to interact with the members of this community and to partake in GB with you all!

Yeah, I hear you, I’m a collector too that started w/Best Buy/Target exclusives that really got me into the Premium editions (I started way back though  & gradually upgraded from VHS to DVD to BD to 4K oh my 🤣). then I was fortunate to find out about this terrific forum MP from another forum I followed & MP took over my #1 place since March ‘19 hey 👋 

 

 

I’m who is referred to as the “consigliere” on MP and the Ol’ American guy 😆 (Ol’ Veum is me) because I do enjoy communicating with all the peeps!😊

 

  

 

Hold fast to your wallet as your money will be spent quite a lot lol!😜

I'm a Buc fan and guess what!!??... After 18 years of waiting we finally got the Lombardi back!! What an amazing season we just had...
