My name is Rudy and I am new member to MP. But am not new to collection media. Started with VHS (mainly RKO Collection and Nostalgia Merchant collection), then DVD, then Blu-ray ( Criterion , Eureka, Kino). I have a 300 plus SteelBook Collection that I’m transitioning to 4K SteelBook. I just started collecting Titans of Cult. This site is awesome!! If you had to choose just a handful of collections of Blu-ray’s what are your top 3-4. I know that might tough for some of you. Also where could I find these complete lists of said collections! I appreciate your responses and thank you in advance.

Hi @Moviedad and welcome to MP. We have the collecting bug, same as you. I pretty much startled the same, some VHS, then DVD, Blu-ray, 4K. But the premium editions you can find here are an entirely new level. Very limited, more expensive than regular releases, but oh so beautiful! Everyone here collects different stuff. For some it’s Marvel or DC, others it’s the classics or foreign films, some collect all from certain premium retailers like HDZeta or Blufans, and some just buy everything in sight! 😂 So it really depends on your tastes. The release threads under each county and retailer usually have a masterlist pinned at the top. Best thing is to just look around the whole site and see what you like. The GB section has open GBs (with beauty shots if available). If a GB is closed then it’s too late to join. Release threads also have artwork in the OP if available. Yeah, I hear you, I’m a collector too that started w/Best Buy/Target exclusives that really got me into the Premium editions (I started way back though  & gradually upgraded from VHS to DVD to BD to 4K oh my 🤣). then I was fortunate to find out about this terrific forum MP from another forum I followed & MP took over my #1 place since March ‘19 hey 👋 

 

 

I’m who is referred to as the “consigliere” on MP and the Ol’ American guy 😆 (Ol’ Veum is me) because I do enjoy communicating with all the peeps!😊

 

  

 

Hold fast to your wallet as your money will be spent quite a lot lol!😜

 

 

If you ever need any help just tag a Head Psycho, Staff or one of us Guardians like this @Veum (make sure you use the @ plus the members name you want and make sure you use the @ w/the BLUE as it gets our attention!). 😁

As my Brother said... Just take a tour through avery retailer masterlist thread and you will find past releases AND Future releases that will be available through our GBs...

There are a lot of other retailers that do an amazing job. Like UHC and WCL. this is  a very expensive hobby but it is very rewarding 😁
