I’m so envious of your collection. Damn. Was it the packaging etc that you found disappointing, or the way the movie itself looked, or both? I love the movie, didn’t even realize it was available in 4K. If the remastering of the movie is decent then I’d certainly buy a plain-Jane package of it.

My son and I saw Five Nights at Freddy’s tonight. A family member introduced him to the game (when he was probably too young ) and he has always been a huge fan. So he knows everything about every game, probably every video made about each of the games. He absolutely loved this movie. I thought it was fine. My strong suspicion is that this movie will be loved by fans of the game and largely ignored by everyone else. If you have no love for or awareness of the game, you would probably enjoy a lot of other movies more than this one, and should watch those.

Enjoy your rest! I am about to leave work to enjoy a 4 day weekend! My son and I are seeing Five Night’s at Freddy’s tomorrow night, was his favorite video game when he was younger. I am not especially excited for this movie though I’m open minded. I’ll report out on the movie either Thursday night or Friday. -
Low of 58 degrees this morning, high of 79. The leaves may be prettier in the northeast, but fall in the southeastern US is pretty great.

I pre-ordered The Prophecy trilogy from Vinegar Syndrome, due out 11/30. Have to admit, I did it based on my love for the first one, would’ve paid that price for it, even though I haven’t seen the other two. Has anyone here? Thoughts? Looking forward to checking it out, regardless. -

So I watched Memento for the first time in 15 years or so. SPOILERS!! I had forgotten how he himself pretty much sets up Teddy, for pointing out reality (I remembered everyone manipulating him, somehow forgot about how he finally manipulated himself. SPOILERS OVER!! Anyway, I’m the weirdo who still thinks The Prestige is Nolan’s best movie, just because I could watch it over and over. But I think this one is in my top 3, along with Dark Knight. Have picked up some more Moonlighting (I love that it’s finally streaming, on Hulu, was my favorite show as a kid), and now I’m going to try to go to sleep to Hellraiser. Wish me luck!

Guten Morgen, Deutschland! It’s 11:15pm here and I should go to sleep, but not only am I off work tomorrow, someone else is taking my son to school. I’m free! Think I’ll put on Hellraiser, perfect for sweet dreams.

I have started to wish that creators didn’t feel the need to make content describing every part of the entire history of the world they’ve created. But the QP prequel sounds potentially exciting; hope they don’t blow it. It’s a big swing. -
I am agnostic, so if people have beliefs that give them comfort, I tend to hope for the sake of their happiness that those beliefs turn out to be true (except for the ones that involve being awful towards other people). Or maybe I’m just a Gemini; I never know what to expect.

Ye gods that’s sweet. @ShadowWarrior, the original release date at the beginning of one of the threads (it gets a bit confusing for me) said “release date: 10/25/23”. Is that still accurate or has timing changed? So excited to get my first GB; seems like this one and BR 2049 may be neck-and-neck in the race

Guten Morgen! Sorry to say, no movies, I only watched the first two episodes of Moonlighting (on Hulu now). Still pretty much holds up, looking forward to getting to the excellent episodes that developed as the show got better. I’m now going to fall asleep to this 4K pickup from earlier this year, I can tell you that the picture is excellent.
