  1. Very nice list, and I'm thrilled to see someone list the KBs lower. Man, I don't understand the love those movies get. His crush on Uma fogged his judgement. I'm not a hater, but comparatively, they do not compare imho.
  2. In the renderings, the base of the monolith looked like some poorly shaded sculpey. How does it look in hand?
  3. Between RD and PF, my favorite seems to be which ever one I watched most recently. But, I have to admit, seeing RD for the first time, and that neo-hipster violence, it was a game changer. Can you believe it is over 30 years old? It holds up. Excited for this one. @tr0llhatt @Miguelispro
  4. The limited nature of these has me intrigued, and some of the titles too, but there is something off still, in terms of price and design. Although this one is the most tempted I've been to jump in. I have seen Elvis on the secondary market occasionally, so they do seem to be out there.
  5. Yeah, it grows, and grows and grows, but it's a lot of fun. I'm sure others chimed in when you joined, but I wanted to let you know you can hit me up with a PM if you have any questions at all. No dumb questions on MP. Also, if you are not already, follow members @ShadowWarrior, @Gary K, @Reagh, @extantsrevenge to start with. Any new group buys, payment info, etc., will usually surface around these stellar cats. And you can PM them with questions too. At least one of them has probably already reached out to you. We have a little movie club for 2023. You can hop in and out and watch, share, whenever, etc. We are watching Cinema Paradiso this weekend. @Reagh will hook you up with a slot if you want to join. If you just want to lurk, that's cool too. MP Films Unearthed Movie Club I went to Florida State for grad school, we hate UF, and are indifferent about you all. 😆
  6. Wise man. My guess is they will be so different, based on what we've seen with Rambo from EB/Zavvi and the BS, that there will be plenty of room for both in my collection. Although ML is killing it, will be interesting to see.
  7. Just a friendly reminder, and thank you . . . it's very helpful to new members and lurkers (aka potentially more active members) if you identify your editions. I'm not the thread police, just a suggestion.
  8. Tell your sensei to help you get your mae gari in shape because we are a Disney family and some of these will regrettably end up in my home. I’ll store them next to the compost bucket though.
  9. Very nice! I love the Infinity War popcorn bucket. Fantastic collection in the background and an even more fantastic wife to participate in an MP challenge!! Did she make you join the Raro GB for Beetlejuice?😆 Hey Steve, are you 6’ 10” or is the ceiling low?
  10. Unfortunately I won't be able to see it in a theater this weekend. But I'm hoping for good reviews, I have super high hopes and have done my best to block out the TMI trailer.
  11. Thanks for chiming in. I agree, let us edit, let us edit, let us edit!!! Yeah, all good buddy, was being a bit sarcastic. 😉
  12. Thanks. Sounds like a lot of work for a dented $35 steel. But I get it, there is a process.
  13. Oh, sorry. Yeah, he's a real New York theater guy, and always has been. I moved out of the city about 12 years ago, so I don't know if he's still as active as he was. I'd be curious what you would think of My Dinner With Andre. I find I can't really predict your taste in movies like some in this forum. Hey Eli, a quick question. I have an extra copy of Solo steelbook, it has a dent in it and I don't want to sell it on ebay. Can I give it away here? If so, where would I post it for those that want it?
  14. Yeah, a lot of people really dislike that movie. It's full of lofty post-hippy pontificating. I love it though. Go check out The Designated Mourner if you want to see the "real" Wally.
  15. Well, I've been watching this movie since the mid-90s. I met Wally Shawn a couple of times, and Andre Gregory was around a lot when I was running around NYC in the 90s and early 2000s with my acting/filmmaking buds. So this is one of those feel good movies for me. A bit nostalgic. It won't be the last time I watch it this year. (and yes, Wally really eats like that in real life, sorta disgusting actually) Yeah, I would be interested in hearing what you think about it.
  16. Same here, wasn't expecting to enjoy this movie that much, but it really pulled me in.
