Good afternoon evedrybody! A while ago I went on Filmarena's website, and I saw two curious things: editions that were sold out in stock, and prices raised just like resellers. It happens in so many editions that it can't be a coincidence. It's not enough to say that they found a box in the warehouse. It's not that it's something that other people don't do, or that they can't do as well, but I'm surprised that they're adopting this strategy now. It's a change. In my opinion, they should focus on publishing new editions, take a little more care of the ones they put out, the world has changed and they continue to do the same as they did last decade without any attempt at improvement, maybe it would be good for their business. And for us too. And respect deadlines a little more. And vary the titles a bit. In fact, their production rate is getting surprisingly low, close to non-existent. Anyway, they will know. I have just finished work at my official time, for the first time in a long, long time. I officially declare that Friday starts here! Well, you can enjoy and be happy now. You're right, @Noir21 It's almost better that the trailer doesn't tell anything. That's why I have high hopes. And about that, lately when I go to the cinema I don't even read the synopsis. The less the better. Long live risk! By the way, curiously, what the fans were most looking forward to... was not to see again something they already have, but to know more about the engineers. I am going to be the discordant voice. I was not enthusiastic about it. At least for what it shows, it seemed to me like what we already saw in "Alien" (1978) done in the current way. He is a director who has shown some interesting abilities, but he run the risk of it being a meeting between "Alien" and what he did in "Life". I'm going to see it in the cinema as soon as it is released, I'm a fan of this great saga, and I'll enjoy for sure; but, even if it has these kinds of scenes or situations that are already familiar, I hope it also has a certain amount of plot that contributes to making sense of the whole story. Scott's prequels didn't do very well at the box office because people wanted to see the alien, but also very much because people wanted answers. It would be a mistake to stick with just the alien. IMO.

Fantastic news. I hope this will make for better viewing of Terminator, but also for new collector's editions. Curiously, being a myth of cinema, there are not many, and the ones that exist are from a time when these things were not taken care of so much.

Good morning!! In a few days I'm going to calmly put my collection in order. After the move and the works at home, it is something I had pending. Normally, I have always had my collection sorted by color, and within each color, by the size and color of the letters. I liked to see those colored walls, and it gave me the sensation that although they were full at aesthetic level they seemed less full ordered like that. Also, it was incredibly easy to find the movies, because you didn't have to go look at the lettering or anything: just by remembering a spot in your head, the color of the cover, you knew where to go. But now I don't know what to do, I'd like to have them like that, but I also like to see films by a particular director together, or certain kinds of special editions. The director thing would make sense because I've always been a big fan of the "auteur policy", but that would force me to mix formats.... I don't know, I have to think about it. Have a nice day!

Good morning everyone! I have seen that there is UHD Club Woord "Real Player One" edition. It's great. I love these editions. Few things have hurt me as much as being left out of the "Green Mile" one. And I really like "Ready Player One", in fact I have the Mantalab Full Slip. However... We've gone several years without news of more DP releases of Nolan films. They've released 7. There are a few left. And several have long since been on 4K disc. Dear UHD Club gentlemen, over the years you have become my favorite, and you are, but... You don't think I feel like that man in love who keeps looking at the phone? That while I can't say anything bad about you, because there is love floating in the middle, I also can't deny that my heart lives in a fist. Always yours, Me.

We could write a script for a Sundance award-winning film: Nils was a good-natured, hard-working and willing Community Manager, who everyone started to get on his bad side because he didn't publish Beauty Shots. Nobody realised that he didn't actually publish Beauty Shots because there were almost no editions to publish them in, but that didn't matter to Psychos and fans of the physical format in general. Poor Nils was tortured with complaints every day. Until one day, an English guy made a joke in a forum: Nils doesn't publish the beauty shots but... has all them printed on A3 in his room. That day, a horde of angry fans gathered on the roads, at train stations and airports to go to Nils' house and find out if it's true. But they didn't have time. That day poor Nils put his little nose out of the window, early that morning, and saw his house surrounded by people, 500 or a thousand angry people shouting. They wanted to kill him! Next thing he knew, someone threw a burning coakctail out of a window, and his house started to burn. Poor Nils jumped out of the back window, and started running through a green field full of bushes and trees, running like a squirrel! This is the plot: the film is about Nils' escape, like The Walking Dead, but instead of Zombies, something worse: Psychos thirsty for editions! They finally manage to capture him, and when they are about to kill him by hitting him over the head with a UHD Club wood or DP edition, .... Nils open one eye on his bed and wakes up!! He is at home, calm, happy, and through the window he can see that no one is there. He smiles, puts on his Psycho bathrobe (it has to be made!!), his red Oz slippers, and goes down to the kitchen. He warms up a coffee, grabs a muffin, and leaves with the coffee in one hand, biting the muffin in the other. He arrives at the entrance to the house, and wipes his hand on the muffin against his bathrobe. He stretches out his thumb and puts it on a fingerprint reader on the wall. Suddenly, the wooden door in front of him opens by itself. Nils mumbles something, opens the door, and walks down the dark wooden stairs with his coffee held by the small plate underneath. He reaches the bottom, turns on the light, looks over to a rolling armchair in the middle of the room, smiles, and walks quietly over to it. He sits down, takes a deep breath, closes his eyes, and smiles again. He is at ease. He opens his eyes, brings the cup of coffee to his mouth, and sips some. It's really good. There he leans back, cup resting on his legs, swivels the chair back and forth, and smiles, satisfied. A special look. Proud. He looks this way and that again, and looks back at all the Beauty Shots he has never published, printed on A3 and stuck on the wall. Fade to black. End.

Good morning, everybody. Is it just that I've become a grumpy, manic guy... or are there hardly any new collector's editions being announced?

Good morning!!! Yesterday my team won, and I have realized that we are a strange fan base: we prefer to take risks and lose by attacking, with players from here, than to be more defensive and use players from outside who have a bigger name. If we are not going to win any trophy, at least we will enjoy it. It's a very Psycho way of think, like when you say: if I'm not going to get rich, at least add another GB! Have a nice week!

I think it's marvellous. Besides, Lanthimos doesn't need a big circus to make a good film, he knows how to be grandiloquent, but also minimalist.

I couldn't have described it better. And I don't have much time to be able to do it either. But I work hard to buy time, and someday I'll have a good week.

I'm not interested in Eurovision, but this year there's a big scandal in Spain about the lyrics of the Spanish song, and I'm going to sit down with popcorn and enjoy it. Political fuss, discussions, debates in the newspapers.... Anyway, if you're interested in high literature and Eurovision, here's a chance to enjoy it. Don't ask me to translate "Zorra" or I'll get banned. The rest is subtitled in German. By the way, in other languages the video also translates "Zorra", but not in German. That's curious. I'm sure there's a reason.
