Today I read an interview with the director of a small distributor of films in physical format in Spain, they make careful editions of films from the 80s and 90s, the ones that normally the big majors don't want to release, and he said something very curious, that at least I didn't know: There are streaming platforms that when negotiating film rights with production companies for their streaming services are including a clause in the contract to block the possibility of physical format editions being released. Me too. And if it's not a Collector's Edition and it's just a steelbook, too. It's amazing how many good films have never had any really interesting edition, while others repeat so much that they bore the market. 😡

PS: I've been watching the MP Twitter account for a while... and people are barely "liking" the tweets/announcements, whebn we are alrewady a lot of people here. It's strange, why? I guess sometimes it's just laziness, maybe other people don't want more competition buying, maybe a lot of people don't use Twitter, or have promised their partner that they have left the community and will not buy any more collector edition... a thousand reasons, but just in case, don't forget that the algorithm appreciates the likes. Hi @Basil Thank you for your suggestion. I haven't tried it yet, I would have to buy those wipes, but I also preferred to try it first in a "soft prudent" way. But it didn't do any good. Let's see what happens. PS: I'm a very clean guy, and very careful, and when I had to buy a glass hob for my new flat last year, one of the things I looked into was that it should be easy to clean. I don't know why the manufacturers don't work more on that, make it grease repellent and even easier to clean. We don't need more power, we need more time to live and less time to clean.
